Heard good reviews so far on this will start after it ends. Often lakorn can just go wayward midway.

Yap, I agree. I can finish watching a lakorn and question why did I even start it and finish it still enjoying it.....But I am sincerely glad they move away from 80s Slap/Kiss. Those were really uncomfortable to watch.

I admit this lakorn is extremely popular. And many love it and rank it the same to Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat. I am honestly one of the fee that will disagree.
I have watched this lakorn twice, not because I truly enjoy it as much as Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat. But because I had to watched it the second time to see what I may have missed the first round. I was expecting myself to fall in love with the lakorn but I did not even feel a love crush. The lakorn is really quite good. The leads have good chemistry and support cast are fun to watch.
But I really did not fall in love with this lakorn. I have no intention to offend anyone. But I like to just express my opinion as others are allowed.
But I do suggest others to watch it if they are considering. It is worth watching.
But it does not stay on any of the Top 3 spot of lakorns in my list. It is in my Top 10 list.

I have learn t after watching so many lakorns.
There are really lots of Why? What? Whatever! and "You got to be kidding!"
I just watch them now if I like the chemistries between the actors. But no longer have high expectations on storylines. Sometimes, it does turn out prefect but that is rare.....

The Monk in this lakorn is also in other lakorns. Does anyone know more about the monk?

Happy with long thread. I am just glad I can talk to someone about the frustration this drama gives me.
I was sincerely so happy when I read the synopsis and main casts. I have a soft spot for both leads. But as the drama progress, it is just too obvious how this production will be a disappointment. I dont even know how much longer I can support this drama.
Complains aside, what are your thoughts of the chemistry between the Tao and Janice?

Yap, the days we get a simple, straight forward idol dramas with strong cast is long gone. Only in cheaply produced web dramas with newbies we get those. But the higher profile ones are now filled with rubbish side stories with side characters. You will noticed as the show continues, it almost feels like the story has separate cells. Tao/Janice, Janice/Jun Feng, Janice with office, the office/investors etc.
Tao just appears in about 30% of time or even less.
This drama is very badly produced.
I was hoping for a Love o2o storyline but sadly not.

I will not go into detail why drama is not great. But I like the three leads so I will try to support them as long as possible. It is such a shame China has do many badly written scripts these days not by choice but to please investors and sponsors.

Have watched till eps 12. not too great so far...Could be much better...But Tao really shines as a Superstar. He carries the role of a star in the drama very well. But Janice is really full of spark. Second lead is so charming....He is a under rated actor.
