When Bu Jeong said, "Life without illusion is closer to death."
When Kang Jae asked his mom what that could mean.
Even though his mom wasn't a deep thinker or anything, she knew. She knew what Bu Jeong meant by that was about Kang Jae.
I want to predict a positive happy ending for the two. Maybe not a cliche ending with two of them in a relationship or dating so fast. But two of them reuniting and starting a new chapter hopefully.
I mean I'm not complaining but I feel like we skipped some steps between "I'm still hurt and afraid to love" to…
I think her trust issue comes from people taking advantage of her for ulterior motives and Tae Jin leaving her right before marriage as he abandaned her for other priorities. Moo Hak clearly showed in the episode that he puts Dali first when he gave her the paperwork of his family's illicit activities. That takes a lot of trust to do something like that since we know how much Moo Hak values money. I think thats when she was able to let go of her trust issues. Not to mention that she already has feelings for him since pretty much the beginning and he has proved to be trustworthy and a good guy this whole time.
The rating needs to be at least 8 or higher! This is one of my favorite daily dramas so far. Despite being so many episodes, there's nothing draggy about it, and there are so many mysteries yet to be solved
There is definitely romantic tension, more so from him than her though I think. I wasn’t sure about him until…
Yes of course. Let's hope we get more scenes with them because it's absolutely a treat to watch. I trust the writers on whatever direction they want to go with their relationship, it feels like they know exactly what they want to convey in this story and I'm here to appreciate that, whatever that may be.

She longs for him too but there is the uncertainty based on their different lives, their age gap, and most importantly she is still legally married to someone else. It wasnt a coincidence that the scene distinctly showed her marriage ring. Also you can tell that every inch of her body was craving him, but she was trying to resist him as you can see from her holding on to his shirt so tightly. That whole scene made me out of breath because it was so intimate and the details were so perfect, i have never seen such intense romantic tension in a kdrama like this. Kissing does not have to be the only form of romance, their chemistry and emotional and physical intimacy was palpable in that scene, especially when she touched his face and he drew her closer in and almost buried his face on hers.
Quick question, how much screen time does the evil guy tian ching get in this drama? I'm literally thinking about giving this a shot because of him because his looks and charisma are *chefs kiss*
The ending of episode 4 stole my heart! These two make me so weak. The longing portrayed between Bu Jeong and Kang Jae - two individuals who are starved of affection and validation, even though they barely shared screen time - it's all very believable! The nervous energy shared between the two gives me life! I can't wait to see their relationship progress.
I just wonder how many tears JDY must have had shed for 18 hours journey. Since epsiode 1 she is crying and not…
Usually female leads who cry a lot in dramas make me cringe, but JDY's acting is so beautiful and her tears feel very meaningful and poignant in the context of the story. It is so believable, and she portrays Bu Jeong perfectly - a defeated woman who is very restrained but with a vulnerable heart.
- Character growth of the kids: I loved how all the penthouse kids grew so much. I remember watching the first…
This is so on point! Eunbyeol probably had it the worst out of all the penthouse kids considering all the trauma she experienced because of Seojin. Rona too, but Rona's story is just tragic. But I'm glad they both grew up to better themselves at the end of the show despite the shit of their parents.
