i feel the same way haha i love wu wangyan but there's just something about FOF that holds a special place in my heart

imo the screenwriting is pretty tight and well-paced, i rarely thought any episodes felt like filler episodes :O

the worse offense in my books is not just underdeveloping the female characters, but writing them in a way that makes their motivation serve the male character instead UGH having romance =/= male-centric

i also wish GJM did more with LWY and WWY but alas he's always had a bad track record with well-written female characters :-|

i personally wish i could watch more of xiao wei and WWY 🥺 i think their bond is especially sweet considering just how long they've known each other... and seeing how things turned out this way... after xiao wei left WWY essentially had to be the "eldest sister" in the sect (cries) she really just wants to save everyone from jiu ying

i hateeee that they spent so many months filming... and in terrible conditions too... i remember all the late nights dudu had to work T___T seeing the final cut now makes my heart break bc it's so disrespectful to all the effort she put in
