why the rating is dropping ?still 5 eps out ....from 8.7 to 8.4 and now 8.3
most watchers haven't rated yet since there's only 5 episodes out so far, so as long as the drama keeps up the good quality then the rating will eventually increase!
i managed to catch a showing at a nearby cinema last weekend and i'm so glad i watched it on the big screen!!! by the end of it all my tears had thoroughly soaked my mask 😂😭 what a beautiful movie — i love how it celebrates jaehee and heungsoo's queerplatonic relationship. they're the strongest version of themselves when they're together because they know each other's true selves <3
i wish everyone would watch this movie at least once in their lifetime!
oh wow i'm pretty impressed with how they have prince yue qin involved in the story this early on! it very nicely establishes his role as the other love interest (sometimes it feels like most dramas only have a SML to move along the main leads' romance without giving the character any personality or agency hah)

As a native Chinese speaker I am so surprised at how good Wu Jin Yan's voice is! Probably non Chinese speakers…
read somewhere that a higher-pitched voice is usually preferred for female leads??? i'm glad they let WJY dub herself though! i can't imagine mei lin with qiu qiu's voice
