reflecting further on my idiocy, that makes sense why I thought the side couple was so random; I had no idea "how they met" πππ Do I have face blindness?????? I was just patiently waiting for the "couple that met in ep 2" to come back ππ
I would definitely fall for the Superman/Clark Kent thing because I skipped through the side couple a lot and only just now realized after rewatching episode 1 (started a rewatch before getting to eps 7&8) that Ray Ray is the girl in the restaurant with the awful boyfriend. In my defense, I watched the first few episodes at work on my phone while barely paying attention. π But that makes me a lot more interested in RayRay's character, so I'll actually watch the side couple scenes now π
Tin: I am going to calculate exactly what time I need to be somewhere and exactly what I have to say to whom. I have written a detailed diagram about the events for this evening, and exactly how they will go. Tol: *plans nothing, does whatever comes to his mind immediately after he thinks of it, attempts to use puppy dog eyes to reverse the effects of loop amnesia* yeah I think this might work
Is it normal to have a shrine basically for the person you like? I've seen it in so many bls and wondering if…
when I was a really little child, like 7 years old, I had drawn little pictures of my crush and had them on my desk in my bedroom, but nothing beyond that! although, when I was 15, with my first boyfriend I also had a collection of things he gave me all in one spot, but it wasn't meant to be a shrine! π€£ we're getting married now! so clearly he didn't think I was too weird.
Kota feels so bad for dating him for ulterior motives, but I'd like to point out that in a way, (IF Naoya is self aware like Kota is that his luck is at a supernatural level; I'm not sure if he's aware like Kota is) Naoya is sort of not being 'honest' as well; he might think Kota is being partially influenced by Naoya's luckiness; clearly he had a crush on him for at least ep 1, and when Kota asked him out 'out of the blue', he almost seemed guilty about saying yes! I think they both are being slightly 'dishonest' with each other, but in a way that only these two could ever understand and forgive!
Kota's unluckiness causes him to say things "wrong" in a way that makes Naoya think he means something romantic (i.e. "stay with me always" and "as long as you're hear I'm happy"); Naoya's luckiness causes him to accidentally (seemingly by magic) start dating the guy he was (probably) crushing on. Their ying/yang thing is essentially them being soulmates and fated for each other. I ... am obsessed.
during that scene, sangwoo says "yaja time" which is a period of time where the younger can drop politeness with…
awesome, I had a feeling it was something like this but can only understand really simple Korean/grammar, so wasn't sure! I love the idea of that, it seems like a good way to poke some fun at Jaeyoung :>
I noticed JY starts referring to SW as "hyung" and SW starts speaking less respectfully for part of the scene. It seemed like something they both agreed to start doing for a bit, but I'm curious if this is commonly done among senior/junior friends in SK? I don't think I've seen it before but it seemed like something they agreed to do without really explaining it, so I'm confused!
