Sorry for the spam. But, I'm wondering, who is this person who takes here links to all my channels with subtitles…
Would you like help with subbing? I speak a small amount of Thai and can read it sort of, but also have been an editor for English grammar in the past. Please let me know if I could help you fix errors/grammar!
For those concerned about this shows portrayal of DID (dissociative identify disorder), I'd actually make the argument that this is one of the more medically accurate portrayals of this disorder that I've seen in fiction; of course it's a bit overexaggerated, but some important things stand out. 1) ML has childhood trauma, which is very important in diagnosing someone with DID,; they must have childhood trauma 2) He experiences amnesia when they switch out, which is another common diagnostic necessity. 3) He experiences headaches a few times throughout the show, which is common with those with DID 4) And this one is super important; so many 'multiple personality' shows/movies, like Split or Fight Club, portray this disorder as good vs evil, with 'alters' that are evil to the core and do awful things; in Bad and Crazy, K is just a guy with a passion for justice. And Soo Yeol isn't truly bad, he's just misguided. I love both characters actually!
Idk, we can talk further in the comments, but as someone who is being evaluated for personality disorders, I find this an intriguing show due to it's handling of this specific disorder (so far, anyway!)
okay, I'm only on ep 9, and I love it so far, but oh my god it's so awful how every single person in the shop is essentially dating someone but they won't tell that straight couple they can just get engaged already ππ
y'all are doing toooooo much in this comment section. you can enjoy a show/ship without it being 100% 'healthy'; especially when the characters are CLEARLY going through personal growth.
Ok so far, I think that I don't have any thoughts whatsoever regarding this series. I went in fully expecting…
I'm obsessed with "if you don't think about common sense, what's realistic, and morally right, it's kind of romantic" which is exactly how I feel about this show π consider watching fansubs who are dedicated to accurately translating, I've heard that the official subs lack some of the nuance of the script.
curious, why would anyone pit this against those two other shows? Literally have little to noting in common. And…
You're right, that they're not similar; I guess I compared them just because those are the other shows I'm watching that are currently airing that I am enjoying. I should have mentioned Bad Buddy cause that's much more comparable to this one. π
fully was not expecting Singto to be in this show, so that was a wild first 10 seconds. I haven't been into more 'comedic' dramas lately, so I don't think I'll be watching this for now. As someone else said, it feels a bit bland when pit against Kieta Hatsukoi and Utsukushii Kare, etc. I might come back when everything's released and I can binge it quickly!
I'll pick it back up after it's all been released, but I'm dropping it now after ep 3. I know the characters aren't really meant to be likable guys (or at least, I hope they're not), but they're just ... annoying to watch. Plus, it's uncomfortable to watch GMMTV attempt to tackle a story line as dark as literal children being murdered. It's just not the vibe they're good at.
