So far, are there any intimate scenes aside from the FL's dream in Ep. 2? I just prefer watching a platonic kind…
Rest assured, I've just finished this series and I can promise you everything is under control π I think this also applied to any TBS Tuesday dorama
Let me tell you guys, there is no such thing as sad ending for a TBS tuesday doramaπ€£
I'm so satisfied with the last episode EXCEPT I NEED SEASON 2 WITH THE KOREAN SETTING πππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Note: Hanaoka is officially my husband lmao π€€ π
just watched ep 9. so the korean girl wrote her experience into a book and made it a regulatory standard for everyone…
Why don't you put spoiler tag, please? If I haven't watch ep 9 I'd be surely mad at you lol
Yes all assumptions except the coincidences match... But it is still weird how much the nuna seems so convinced about it, I hope we can get more explanation for this
I'm sure fl just doesn't want him to die, but she's been fine being single for 12 years, so lol
I'm seeing a lot of kdrama stans criticize the FL and the over-the-top acting/comedy... When essentially, ELY…
I'm a lifetime jdrama lover, and I love this drama because it feels like my DREAMY rabukome...
Sure, I can see the romance presented in korean-style here, but it still has the strong jdrama characteristics, how do I say it: the details, the subtlety in exposing every characters' thought and feelings throughout the whole setting, the overshadowing, the clever wittiness, meaningful dialogs, the short duration of every dialog (always to the point or to the misunderstanding), how every single scene is connected to the next ones, the very minimum almost to no filler (I mean, jdramas are mostly 8-11 eps only as comparison to kdrama's 12-16 esp)
So, if they feel entitled to say jdrama rom-com is OTT, let me also say that kdrama rom-com is just unreasonable for me, that's how I feel when I watch it, like, "OMG most of them are just filler after filler, while their characters are boring me to death" βΉοΈ
But I don't go to their page to complain how bad they are cuz I'm not a wet blanket craving for attention. I'm just gonna stay here and defense π
Episode 9 felt like my usual jdrama as I expected until it turned super korean...π
I was both laughing and crying π Hmm I knew Yuri would do that, I knew it so much that I'd be disapointed if she didn't do that lol Well, so many fluffy moments made me smile like an idiot... Teo is everything you need in life and Yuri's unwavering shyness is my favorite comedy part lmao I LOVE HER π―π And oh, Hanaoka, God knows how much I love him too π€£π Can't Yuri just have both of them lol JK π
even crazier π I didn't expect this episode to give me such headache... I felt stressed π I was on the edge…
Taeoh has always been noticing even the smallest change in Yuri's expressions since ep 1. Not only because he was attracted to her (yes, it was clearly love at first sight and the more he knows about Yuri the more attracted he is to her), but also because he's a character with an exceptional sensibility to begin with. He has been wondering how Yuri seems like a different person (her expressions and mood change) everytime they met. The biggest hint is in episode 4 when Taeoh realized that Yuri has this habit of touching her left ear and saying things that made it look like she knows something she shouldn't. In episode 5 after the kiss Taeoh became sure of Yuri's ability after she accidentally answered his inner confession (notice here he is looking at his left hand trembling)
Note: Just my small tips for watching Jdramas, they LOVE to play detective with the feelings, so, DO NOT BLINK or you'll miss the hint... π€£π
even crazier π I didn't expect this episode to give me such headache... I felt stressed π I was on the edge…
So far, Yuri (and us) only know the picture book up to the latest 2 pages taken by Mahiro which said: "There is a way to erase her ability, that is by keeping eye contact for 33 seconds with someone she loves." Then, the book also said: "But you must hurry up, or you will lose the most important thing to you"
Yuri tried this 33 seconds with her father (her father convinced her that they could still communicate even without her mind-reading), but it failed. She still has the ability, which made her so happy cuz she couldn't imagine not hearing her father's voice anymore
The problem is, there is something with the book's ending that made sensei worried about Taeoh and asked him to break up with Yuri. But, Taeoh said he will continue loving her. So, sensei asked him, "You know how the story ends, right?" "Are you prepared for that?"
To which Taeoh answered, (and this is what drives me crazy lol) "Because, I'm Yun Taeoh"
But, if Yuri knows about the ending, she will agree with sensei, no?
Yes, I feel u I want the last episode to be all fluff too... I have enough of last minute thriller π€£π
even crazier π I didn't expect this episode to give me such headache... I felt stressed π I was on the edge…
I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean π₯Ί Did you like the episode or not? Because I loved it... I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear in my comment, I was just being too emotional π₯Ί
for someone who can read minds, how can she not knoe hanaoka's feelings until now
I'm sure she had said it herself in the episode, "When you can read minds, you become too afraid of knowing the things you never want to know that I ended up not reading anything" (my rough translation) And I don't think she's to blame either when no one around them notice Hanaoka's feeling even just a bit... He was just the type who's not into romance at all, remember how cold and arrogant his attitude was when they first met? Lucky Yuri was so pure and polite and he notice that quickly... Thus the friendship lasts. Even their employees mentioned how Yuri's ambitions always become Hanaoka's ikigai (life purpose) none of them realize it in the romantic way
If episode 7 made me crazy, episode 8 is only making me...
even crazier π I didn't expect this episode to give me such headache... I felt stressed π I was on the edge of my seat all the time, bracing myself to any possible tragedy that might be shoved to my face lmao
I really don't know how to feel and I hate this π I only want to watch some fluff (Yes, they gave me A LOT of fluff, and also comedy in this eps ty) but in my overthinking brain it felt like I was watching some kind of thriller, cuz I know something's gonna happen!!!
That scene with Yuri's father was too much for me to handle, but no, I won't cry over a freaking rom-com, never π₯Ί
And Taeoh...ππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ he's everything I love him so much πππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ (Yes, you win, I'm crying)
to all the comments that said the female lead acting like a teenager: this is a story about a 30 years old woman…
Well, some people just love to complain... Complaining is in fact one of their hobbies π€£ but I could never relate with them cuz I won't waste my time commenting on a fictional work that doesn't suit my taste. And who do they think they are to tell us "this is how a mind-reader should act" when they have never been and will never be (lmao) a mind-reader... For me its just their failure to understand a character caused by lack of real life experience, imagination and empathy. My suggestion to them would be, why don't you write that ideal rom-com of your own...I bet everyone will like your real grown up characters π₯±

Thanks to you!!
Btw, Taiyou is the name of ML in "Kimi ga kokoro wo kureta kara" (still airing too)
I can only guess, since he is a very honest and possitive person, he wants to say that their love should be fine π€£
He is very confident lmao
Yes, give us the laugh, give us the love!!!
