This drama was created to attract local chinese people. As it's a family drama, romance is not the first priority. As an Asian, I can relate many things with this drama for which I am really liking it so far.
It's a slow burn romance for the leads, but it's definitely worth it as their chemistry is top notch.
Though it's totally upto the watcher if one would like it or not as this kind of genre may not be likable for all. But the ratings are really high for an urban drama in China. It broke many records. If you want a "slice of life" kind of drama, go for it.
