I was more excited for that one because of Neo's guest role.
I hope they give enough depth/motive to that black fox in the part 2 with proper dialogue.
But part 2 has many fighting scenes which is a plus point.

I really thought it would be one of my top dramas before watching.
I will continue watching as I know, if I stop I will never continue in the future😅

As a lover of xianxia and fantasy genre, I had a great expectation for the whole "fox spirit matchmaker" series. Yuehong was highly promoted and it's the highest budget Iqiyi drama this year. But all those top notch casts, high quality CGI couldn't make me like this one. Watched 10 episodes but the plot is not moving at all. Expected an intriguing one.
I'm not feeling the chemistry of Honghong & Yuechu, well FL didn't start having any romantic feeling so it's acceptable. The other couples are more pleasing to watch.
The direction is the worst. Transition from one scene to another without properly letting the viewers emotionally involved! Whenever I force myself to emotionally get attached, another scene abruptly appears🤦🏻‍♀️It's annoying.
Also there're zero real fighting scene. All are done in static mode. It's like Thanos snapping his fingers everytime.
WTH with the villain Shi Ji???? Isn't the villain supposed to be the strongest one? She doesn't even have enough motive for being evil. Her dialogue, movements even make me crack up😕
I'm lowering my expectations for the next 2 dramas as I don't want to get disappointed again.
Will continue to watch hoping to see some tremendous change in the plotline. During LBFAD, I really loved the plotline from ep24 onwards even though the starting wasn't my cup of tea. So I will give it a chance too.
Also the outfits and makeovers are really gorgeous. I enjoy watching Yang Mi, Miles Wei, Hu Lian Xin on screen too.

In ep 13, ML followed FL to Shanghai to hand over the documents. After that all the things that happened was in the dream.

Still happy as his mom is alive, he can fix his love life too. Xiaolu's smile in the train at the end speaks a lot.

There are so many beautiful moments in almost every episodes for which I felt I was watching an old movie.

I liked this drama more than I expected tbh. I thought it was pure comedy 😅

FL didn't do anything wrong in the past. So what's wrong if he goes soft. But watching the teasers, he seems reasonable.
