i was thinking if i should rate that with a solid 1 or should I give it 1.5 stars. Loved the script: Alien comes to earth and loves food - the end! Having a bunch of actors trying to make that sentence funny, failed spectacularly. - Sorry it was so bad that I could not finish it.
What a n awful return to the times when BL's were extremely transphobic. Trans must be displayed only as overweight, ugly, ridiculously behaving people with offensive clothing and makeup. Could not finish it - gave it a solid 1 out of 10
Ohhh so sometimes series don't get better towards the end?
Ohhh and I thought when a series starts this bad it can only get better towards the end? Agree with the first reviewer - they should have named the series "Spoiled Milk"
This show reminded me of "What the duck". It was painful to watch - a thin story and bad acting. This might not necessarily be the actors fault but the lackluster directing. Actors never got pushed to give their best, to portray their character convincing. Another problem is the really unlucky timing. The last few shows were all well above average (Thame-PO, Heartkillers, Boy Next world) and the most recent one was outright amazing (Gelboys).
It was beautifully done, and I am probably not the only one who felt a bit uncomfortable, because it hits a bit too close to home :) Inability and lack of communication is always the fault of both partners β one who avoids to open up and one who avoids the question, even he/she knows there is a problem. Loved that the series used the time to deal with the escalating results of not talking about the relationship problems that drives them apart, and used just the last 15 minutes to let the four main characters express their love for their partner, fully knowing that it is too late, and they cannot go back to the way it was before.
calling CatMan a series (5x2 minutes, so probably a total length of roughly 4-5 minutes without intro and credits) is a bit of a stretch π most previews are longer than that)
please at least watch the content before you rate any serie because it seems unfair to rate any serie without…
To make good series you need money and I am more than willing to pay for great content. I subscribe to several paid streaming services (IQIYI, GAGA, Netflix,...) In cases like this one I will follow your lead, wait until somebody downloads all the parts, combines them and uploads it to a site where i can watch it for FREE :)
LMAO- I still don't understand WHY they do it this way?
They don't list short films on this site - and so they split a 20-minute short film into 20 1-minute episodes and sell it as BL "series". Most of these are advertising scams with the last few episodes hidden behind a paywall
or u can pay for subscription and watch in one go...u do understand that they make shows etc to earn money right..so…
good content and high production value requires money and I am more than willing to pay my fair share for great shows. I subscribe to several paid services from Netflix, Hulu to IQIYI and Gaga. What I do not support is advertising scams (splitting a short film in dozens of 1-3 min episodes requiring to watch commercials and then hiding the last few episodes behind a paywall.
Sorry Thai producers, 81x2 is a nice try, but you can't beat the Koreans - they are already at 1-minute episodes (with 10 seconds for previous episode and 10 seconds for next episode, which gets you 40 seconds of new content per episodeπ - maybe next time you should try 972x10-second episodes, that would beat the Koreans π
Those short series sh*t are getting out of hand , just make a movie or a series
we can stop this nightmare - these are not series they short films split into dozens or hundreds of 1-2 minute episodes - I give them a rating of 1.0 - until they release a compilation π
Just rated it with 1.0 Let's give all these shows split into 1/2/3 minute episodes a rating of 1.0 -that is until they release a compilation! (this is a short film, less than an hour long, split into 29 episodes to make you watch commercials !!!!)
Dear Korean Producers: As you can see, your strategy is working really well, starting with 15-minute episodes, then 10-minute and now 2-minute episodes. This community is really desperate and they have proven that they are willing to watch 2-3 commercials for a 2-minute episode. You should build on this success and go to the next level. Split a 1-hour short film into 360!!! 10-second episodes. You could make this community really happy by telling them that they have to watch only one commercial per 10-second episode . Of course you still can ask them to watch 100 commercials to see the last 5 episodes ππ
What a beautiful love story ! Like other posters i too wondered how that ever got through the Chinese censorship? They probably tricked them by keeping the first episodes very neutral and slowly got bolder. In the last 10 episodes they showed incredible chemistry :) Fantastic show - loved it.
Why is this even listed here! - 64 episodes each 1 minute long !!! This is not a BL, it is an advertising scam targeting this community. You have to download an app to watch hundreds of commercials to earn credits to watch these 1-minute episodes. And when you get to the last few episodes you'll find out they are behind a paywall and you have to pay to see the finale.
True that. I really hated it when she was there sobbing... saying she's scared, it all looked like a facade to…
There is of course the possibility that the writers just went for a "common" Thai solution. Children of rich Thai families that committed crimes, are usually shipped quickly out of the country to escape the Thai justice system.
I am rating this series with an 11 - one of the best BL's ever - the acting skills of the main actors is off the charts and even the support characters did an amazing job !!! Loved every second of it.
Could not finish it - gave it a solid 1 out of 10
