i start losing interest in shows when the plot lacks serious development. it’s been a while since the two leads’ relationship gradually grew closer, which is a good thing, but in my opinion, everything from episodes 13 to 16 could have easily been condensed into one and a half episodes. I was intrigued at the start of the show, but now I’m slowly losing interest because there’s not much happening except for all the fluffy stuff, just waiting for the male lead to recover his memory.
They have happy ending after Sima Jiao reborn. Then, there is a modern extra chapter in the novel.
thank you so much for sharing! In the mortal realm, does Sima Jiao remember everything from the start about hsi past life, or he regain his memory later?
just curious, has this been released in China too? Since the drama is popular both domestically and internationally, how are fans in China watching it? Is the Chinese government becoming more lenient with the BL live adaptation, or is it something else?
First 8 eps did'nt get me hooked, frankly the acting is good but the story/plot so far not insteresting for me.…
Since the first 8 episodes build the groundwork for what's to come and if they didn’t resonate with you, the rest of the drama might feel similar (just my guess). Personally, I found them to be intense, thrilling, and an emotional roller coaster (i got hooked right away from the first ep). As for the ML and FL interaction, it’s going to be very minimal, since this is a male-centric drama and not focused on romance (it’s just a small part of the story). This is primarily a story of growth, revenge and transformation centered on Zang Hai. this drama is for anyone who loves ruthless scheming, intense power plays, gripping tales of revenge, court battles, and deeply layered characters.
I wouldn’t recommend this drama to viewers looking for a romance-focused storyline.

thanks for explaining! i’ll keep watching and see if my view changes. As for the enjoyment part, so far I'm loving it, just a little annoyed at times, that’s all. 😅❤️

agree with the part about everyone having different preferences, and I respect your opinion. But I’m currently on episode 34 and I don’t really seem to like this particular FL. Even though she occasionally comes across as intelligent, most of the time her actions are just too annoying. She’s been living in that treacherous deadly palace for quite a long time now yet she hasn’t changed even a bit. All she ever thinks about is food, roaming around, and causing trouble. Being innocent and carefree doesn’t have to mean acting clueless. Of course, since I'm like still halfway through the show, I might change my perspective on her by the end. but for now, that's just how I'm feeling. No Offense.
why does the writer have to make the female lead so dumb? honestly, being carefree, innocent and losing memory doesn’t mean she has to be totally brainless. this series gives me a headache whenever she’s onscreen. the whole amnesia part sucks! It would’ve been so much better if they had focused more on revenge, court battles, and politics instead of forced romance. there's no character growth for FL. honestly i expected more from this character after her whole innocent tribe was annihilated but nahh....
Wow. AvenueX gave almost 3 gold mines rating to this drama! (but still there is good things and bad things). You…
the funny part is i usually didn’t like the dramas she enjoyed, and she didn’t enjoy the ones I liked. yeah, that’s how it is. So, I stopped watching her reviews. as for A Moment but Forever, I watched the first two episodes and honestly don’t know how to feel. It’s nothing new and still feels kind of flat. I just hope the story develops more as it goes on.
I wouldn’t recommend this drama to viewers looking for a romance-focused storyline.
