Honestly made me cringe watching the several different car chases. I always watch real car chases on livestream and the ones in this drama really piss me off. They lose the criminals way too easily…

I hope to see more dramas from the 60s/70s and even 80s. It’s such an interesting period of Chinese history. Anything to do with the Cultural Revolution and its aftermath is so interesting to me.

I’m mostly on Twitter but people are looking at old QRT of everyone doubting BJT and ZRN as Sang Yan and Wen Yifan back in December 2023. I knew they would prove everyone wrong but it’s insane how amazing of a job they did. When I read “Sang Yan”, I immediately see BJT’s face and when I read “Wen Yifan”, I immediately see ZRN’s face. They were casted perfectly and they did all their due diligence in making sure they portrayed their characters accurately.
