Disappointing
Alright so, I have not read the manga nor watched the J- drama (however I definitely want to watch it now because it looks better).
To start, I just thought the episodes were way too long for what the story was. At some points the show seemed to just be trying to fill time with random stuff. I was EXTREMELY and I mean EXTREMELY bored most of the time and even had to start speeding it up.
Karan was kind of a creep, like when he was secretly waiting outside of Achi’s window every night? And Achi wss VERY passive and boring. He had no expressions in his face most of the time and no character. I didn’t feel convinced that he actually liked Karan as much as Karan liked him. I’ve only seen clips of the J-drama and alresdy Adachi there has more facial expressions.
What really bothered me was how Karan wasn’t mad at Achi when he found out that all along he’s been reading his mind. Not mad at all, not even uncomfortable! Like what? I was tensed up waiting all along for him to find out and then nothing happens. So the tension was built up for no reason.
The Kem plot line was just weird as hell. Don’t know what the purpose of it was. It didn’t add to either character.
There seems to be a standard in Thai dramas to be 45 min x 12 episodes but I don’t think that formatting fit this. It would’ve been better with less episodes or less time.
