(Episode 5) I can't with how normal people act about this whole Mitsuru disappearing act. You may not answer text messages for a few days because you're in a slump, that's fine, but what he did to Sakiko was on a whole another level. He vanished. You can't do that to someone you love without further explanation.
Also, something about Itsuki-san bothers me, but I can't put my finger on it exactly.
I like it well enough. It's got an old school charm to it. I recently finished Love is Sweet (with Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi, who have unbelievable chemistry), and I enjoyed that one too.
Qian Fei and Li Yifei have become friends/partners against all odds, and surprisingly peaceful roommates despite all the shenanigans. With 36 episodes, there is plenty of time to develop their romantic attachment. There's a certain charm to the friends-to-lovers trope when both of them start out with zero romantic feelings for each other.
