P.S. As for why my review looks so grumpy and cantankerous for you, I think it's b/c I've seen a lot of better…
I already said I like the main actor/actress, I was prone to like it more than the other way around. And I mostly enjoy watching the dramas I complete watching. The ones I don't enjoy much, I drop it. Don't worry about my enjoyment ;)
Remark: Expect = regard something as 'likely' to happen. Anyone can expect anything. It may come out right or wrong.
Good point. I suppose the grumpy one refers to me so I'd like to join the convo a bit. I gave a review b/c this…
From what you say, you don't understand data science. And as I said, I leave the review as a note to myself. It's the whole project done for me, not just a part from one ep, and the review section is more convenient for myself to look back. I don't mean to be a professional critic for anybody here. My opinions are for myself, so I review only the dramas I feel like to - most of them are those that get me annoyed. The ones I like, I remember them clearer so there's no need to make a reminder as I already memorize them better.
Why are there already two reviews out for this drama? Why were they posted although only one episode was released…
P.S. As for why my review looks so grumpy and cantankerous for you, I think it's b/c I've seen a lot of better works and they naturally become my database to benchmark (apart from my personal taste). My major is also about media. We criticize media contents/works - our own and other's - in detail.

Good point. I suppose the grumpy one refers to me so I'd like to join the convo a bit. I gave a review b/c this already a finished project for me. I drop it. It is done. I want to take a note to remind myself why I drop it and how much I (don't) prefer it - that's how the review comes.
In my opinion, the way Mydramalist designs the type of data to collect is quite good now, like scores from those who complete and drop the dramas. In the future when there's enough data accumulated to analyze deeper, they will surely categorize and show the result in more scrutinizing way. Just that people have to input data as detailed as possible for that to happen. You wouldn't feel much grumpy about the reviews from those who drop the drama if you understand data science.
"The plot is cliche, ordinary, guessable"Yeah, that's what the first minutes usually are like
That line is quite abstract - based on each person's feeling, it can mean different things. So, let me use the reference from some drama we both have watched - for me, the first 10 min or even the first episode of It's Ok to Not be Ok is not cliche, ordinary or guessable. Because It's Ok is not just a usual work, it's one of a few that I gave the highest score so far.
You literally have just seen one episode...damn so salty
P.S. I see a review before mine that gave 10 score after watching only 1 ep as well. According to your logic, you should go say damn to that opinion, too.
The rating won't be count by algorithm. Because she/he dropped it. But Its really misleading for some ppl.
Like or dislike can both be misleading when people think differently due to each person's personal taste. If I think different from you, your taste will mislead me and vice versa. If you don't like what I like and don't dislike what I dislike, easy, just don't listen to me. I'm not at all an influencer who persuades people to bully someone, you don't have to be scared.
You literally have just seen one episode...damn so salty
It's my right to drop any series whenever I feel like to no matter how personal my reason might be. For this one, I even gave some proper reasons out loud, not just gave the score but even justified it. I have rights to feel bored as much as other people have rights to be biased based on whatever when watching and inflate the scores. In my case, I trade my time with other series I feel like it's worth more than this one.
I suggest you deal with your feelings if you feel sour when there're people thinking different from you.

I said I watched the whole ep. I suggest you read the whole thing again.

My gosh Little Foxy, you deserve your name. You came back to edit your false insult on me. You said I watched only "10 min" and now you edited it to "one episode" after I pointed out you didn't read anything before writing back to me. Haha, how come you insulted me saying I watched 10 min before opening my mouth while you youself read only one paragraph then came down to swear on me. SHAME ON YOU.
And you don't even know how contradictory you are after you edited your comment. How stupid you are you don't even know you already exposed yourself that you tried to distort the truth.
Don’t take my reply the wrong way, but there must have been seriously bad translation while you were watching.…
I don't think the translation has to be blamed. It's just that the taste of the OP isn't the same as yours. I can understand the OP's confusion. For me, the message in the film isn't strong. The target group of audience they had in mind beforehand has messed up the direction of the story in the film. And these are not due to the language nuances. It starts from logic and structure.

It's ok, though, if you don't agree with what they talk on the link.

Below I leave a link to another opinion about the way to collect data on the site and how to make use of them in case you're interested:
