I suggest giving it another go. I'm only up to episode 12 but it is getting better. Rains acting is a bit stiff and annoying in parts but to be honest, i watch it for Oh Yeon Seo. She's just brilliant

was close to dying but after watching trailer for episode 14, i'm more inclined to die then. I'm a mess. I'm glad i haven't marathoned this otherwise i would be seriously heartbroken. What we like when it's 'just' a drama haha. I'm hoping for a 'super daddy yeol' type ending

What's the romance like in this drama? is there decent skinship etc. Also around what episode does he find out about the tumour? I don't know much about the show but i assume she keeps it from him

I sooooooo wanted to see a massive reunion between them all. or at least for them both to meet each other for us to see. But my god it was good. Cried buckets for poor Sun Woo. I cried every time Jo Jin Woong cried. Pure Brilliance

Total total fan of Wallace. I loved him in 'Love me if you Dare' and even more so after finishing 'battle of changsha'. What a talented guy!

Edit - Has anyone noticed that he has a slight lisp. Never noticed it in LMIYD but after watching BOC i can tell he has one. So cute ;-)

WOW WOW WOW a full 10/10 for me. I laughed, cried, pitied and felt all sorts through out this. What a piece of art work. You have to watch this and not just for Wallace Huo!

Not quite finished this drama as had to stop briefly due to sheer frustration. I can understand why he made the decision he did as being a leader, he has to put the people first. BUT the way he wenmt about it is just so wrong and that stupid b!t*h who has the cheer to blackmail him into marriage. I mean WHY would you marry someone who doesnt love you? Even if she thinks that he will grow to like her, they have known each other for years ... he would have loved her by now if it was fate to be so. The doctor is another character who is just plain dumb! Will continue it late but not looking forward to whats to come (think i'm on episode 24)

Brilliant but i agree with the ending. Left a bit too much to the imagination. I like a nice solid ending that you can't think over. All in all a great 2 hour film not wasted.

Finally finished this. The lack of subs from episode 35 is really annoying but you can follow the story. Really enjoyed it .. agreed not as good as cruel romance although a few similarities (same house and locations). Glad they went with happy ending otherwise i would have rated lower. 8.5/10 (due to subs)

Just finished this and totally agree with everyone about the last 5 seconds. Definitely left it for a season two. I'm not quite sure what the director was trying to get across.
Loved every minute of the show. So many emotions. Think i doubted nearly every character at one point and loved the twist although now thinking back made total sense.
I'm not quite sure when Jenny changed her English Name to Jane towards the end .. an oversight by the writers? Also agree wholeheartedly about the English scenes .. made a refreshing change to not look at subtitles but would prefer it if both side either spoke mandarin or English not both. Also the 'english' IA agent (Evan?) was totally not English .. sounded more European like German or something. Totally broken. Knocked .5 off for these but the rest was fab. Worth a watch

I watched Cruel Romance, Don Quixote and now Love me if you dare in that order for me to forget the ending. Still raw lol

Finished in a day and my goodness the feels of it. In one total mess now. Brill from start to finish. A must watch.

Edit - Day after and still feel a mess. Don't watch if your over emotional ... this story will stay with you for a while.

Brilliant from start to finish. Hope there is a season 2 but totally satisfied with the ending. Really recommended
