So i've just spent nearly all day trying to sub this myself. I got through only 3 minutes of it. Safe to say i'm going to have to give it up. You really need to be a native speaker to do it. Google translate off Chinese subs does work but the jargon and different way of ordering the words is just too much for my little brain. I'm happy to say i've tried but i'm just going to have to wait patiently :-(
Anyone else hope that another country take on this drama and do it properly (i haven't heard that it has been done so far) #thailand!. I can't believe that Chai Jidan has actually allowed it to be so ... hmmmm ... plain! The book (as those that who have read it will know) that it would have to be rated 18+ to get the point across but there is just so much more to the story. I'm not looking forward to the rest of the drama if what i have heard comes true.
Romance are so much more interesting withouth female leads (yep, I'm a proud fujoshi ), plus it's a BL/Yaoi so…
BL - Boys Love Yaoi - the japanese term for the same as the above.
Basically the drama is boy x boy gay drama as it says in the tag. Although to be fair, the drama is much more romance which hint of relationship due to Chinese censoring.
I like many others enjoyed this drama. It was mostly good until the end when they had that nonsensical ending.…
I see where you are coming from Re: Blacks personality compared to 416. I would only assume that because his heart contained the information for Joon up until he died for the operation and then his heart carried on in the memories for Moo Gang so technically he did grow up until Moo Gang died in the shooting. That plus 444s cold personality mixed in.
The underground stuff wasn't really the point of the story. If they did too much of the underworld, viewers might have been annoyed. I would have loved to have seen the 'death squad' coming to extract the grim reapers who were stuck. Kyung Soo would have been ideal.
Personally, it did get confusing in parts but really do think that flashback were needed in the story to tell exactly what happened.
I can see why a lot of you wouldn't like the ending to this Drama but for me it fitted so well. I suggest to watch it and make your own opinion. I didn't feel like i wasted any time.
Loving this drama. I love Lee Min Ki as an actor and i was waiting desperately for his first drama after military and i'm glad it's not let me down (yet!).
Even though we have now watched 14 out of the 16 episodes, thinking on it, there really hasn't been a lot going on. If you really think about it, with the 3 couples having around the same amount of air time, i feel cheated that there isn't more character development with the main couple.
But, i really don't care, i'm really enjoying it, will enjoy the last 2 episodes immensely then remember it for a long time after.
I'm astounded that i actually managed to watch all of this drama despite reading the reviews before hand.
I was really enjoying it till episode 16 then it just went crazy. The script writer must have wanted to fit all these different elements into the drama and just thought .. what the hell, i'll put it all in at the end. Soul swapping, magic, dreamland, time travel ... it has it all! Could do with a S2 to carry on with the time travel element which would help make it less crazy
I really enjoyed the drama but the open ending was very confusing. Who was the guy in the hood? Did the commissioner…
Someone messed with the brakes sometime during the 'goodbye'. The people present were those that were in the van and Jian Zi's cronies. I doubt those that were in the van would want to kill themselves and his cronies are devoted so it doesn't really make sense... its a mystery .. most likely forever as i bet there won't be a S2 even though there really should be. As for the hooded person .. lets jut hope it's Jian Zi :-)
you feel sorry...... and I'm proud of Mike He that he returned participating in such a beautiful and ambitious…
Totally agree with all that you've said. It's 'out of character' for him to play a baddy and he did it really well. A few emotional blips on his part where i thought he could have done a bit better but overall i really enjoyed this drama
They aren't really siblings though as Zhan Shi Li never married Tang Yin's mother so have no relation to each…
That's not quite right. True, his dad did favour and love him more than his other sons because he is his own flesh and blood. Jian Zi's 'mother' that he spoke about is Tang Yin's real mother who brought him up (due to her being threatened to stay). JZ's birth mother was never really mentioned. Shi Li and TYs's mother never married each other as she was already married to Tang Yin's dad. So in conclusion, the pair have n relation to each other other than their parents were childhood friends. Hope that makes sense.
I really expect this Ending. Jian Zi is dead. And probably in the End Lang Pu(?) was the girl Tang Yin... why…
I'm hoping that it was Jian Zi but my first thoughts when i saw was Tang Yin. Not sure what good she will be as a protector when all she could do was scream lol
if the end will be like this, i'll regret it so much to watched it.i know it is the way of open ending which i…
They aren't really siblings though as Zhan Shi Li never married Tang Yin's mother so have no relation to each other whatsoever.
But i agree, i dropped a half star off the rating as i was miffed about the open ending. After all that he dies by falling off a bridge ... and how come the brakes suddenly sopped working?!) I hope it was Jian Zi otherwise the ending was have sucked so bad. I'll holdout for a S2 but i'm not sure what they could do for the story.
who plays the other young gangster? if you remember the scene where a man asked for money from him ( he lost 10m…
Do you mean the bodyguard type person who opens the door for her? Or Puey In or Visanu (Mina's father). The latter two are mention in the cast. The bodyguard type person i recognise but don't know his name. If anyone else knows, the scene is Episode 3 around 1:15:00 in.
When Prosecutor Kim had the hallucination of Do Han i was like WTF he cant be alive after that fall. Then he snapped out of it. Slight hope that maybe the show turned into a fantasy but nope true to itself, he really did die.
Don't think that the show needs a S2. Si Won's trial would have been a bit boring considering we know all that he did. Maybe nice to close his story by saying whether he did or didn't make it.
Characters were really good and loved the team work. Do Han as Leader was also one step ahead sometimes two :-) Kudos to Seul Gi and Key ... what a lovely couple ;-)
