Sad ending spoiler :The concubine died while trying to give birth (emperor child who didn't came to life too).Qing…
Despite what songs say or what things mean in Buddhism... Just after she passed she says "Jinghe, if it were not for the fire in Qingzhou, how would we have met?" which to me (maybe i'm just simple minded) but i read that as, if the fire didn't happen and the story proceed as it did, the scene after would have shown as it played out. I see no hint at any part that this is something from being reborn.
I found this drama quite refreshing as nearly every period drama i have watched includes some sort of court corruption. This one doesn't actually really focus on the courts at all. The pacing was well done .. nothing dragged. Yes the ending was sad, but we were told early on really that it would be the case when they said there was only one seed. Nicely done and the rating is about right in my eyes.
I got the timeline and i understood what was reality and what wasn't but the bit that confused the hell out of me were the characters names and who they were (aside from the mains). Who killed who etc. I don't think it helped that i watch 1-5 in one go and then had to wait several weeks for 6-8 to come out before i could finish it. what a shame really ...it could have been such a great show but just let down by the lack of explanation
Which question did they talk about in the last scene?
he asked her whether she ever had any feeing for him and at the time she said no. she was referring to the fact that she had lied and did have feelings for him at some point
Can someone help me with something. there is just one part I can’t piece together. Yuen turned himself in at the end. is that because of what happened with his dad? or because of his grandma? or was it the gambling? anyone clarify? I’ve watched it again and to me, it’s still not clear
It's Yai Kanthorn, the grandson of Khun Lek (Khun Yai's little brother). He is the reincarnation of Khun Yai.…
This was the only possibility for me so thought that would have to be the case. I assume the lady would be Khun Leks Daughter thus the mother and son who bought the place and wanted it renovating as it was.
I'm a huge fan of the manga and i hate when important parts of the story are missed or changed to something else not as dramatic. For this reason, the original japanese one is still the best followed by the korean version. If all of the stories were made at the same time, i think the thai one would be totally different.
For me, there was no chemistry. Was more like playful siblings. The FL shouted all the time which was annoying and i didn't feel much for her character unfortunately. As for the F4, they were great. Plus did anyone else see the DOB on the mothers report? being vague as for it not to be a spoiler but apparently she was born in the 2500's lol
The ending wasn't good; there are many unclear elements. What happens after the king's death? Who ascended the…
I think at the end of the day, if you were so into it, none of the above matters. The show per say wasn't about the palace it was about Jang Hyun and Gil Chae and their matters. If you wanted to know more about the history at that time, look it up. Most of the palace characters are real (as well as the Qing side as well). Its very interesting.
Its been years since i gave any drama a 10 but this had everything i could have asked for. Absolutely incredible. Must watch it .. don't hesitate but make sure you have tissues.
We all know that she won't take the revenge. She is a bright person who deep down trusts him alot. Plus we also…
I'm sure he went but i assume that want the audience to assume that he died when he got there but that may not be the case. Until i see a body, i will assume that no one died. Not even if i see a 'grave' as that has been a ruse a few times in the past.
Upon rewatching episode 5. I'm convinced that, Mong Woo is unprepared to take revenge on the king. A kitten trying…
We all know that she won't take the revenge. She is a bright person who deep down trusts him alot. Plus we also don't actually know yet whether her dad is dead or alive so something might help her there.
maybe because this story surrounded with her like remember she gone in that church and asked for forgiveness and…
I thought of two possibilities but i can't remember timelines so they might be rubbish. 1) The son killed the parents in his drunk driving accident hence why she took responsibility or 2) Her parents signed a contract with the demon and their 10 year validity was over hence the car crash .. if this was the case would be a huge plot twist.
what a shame really ...it could have been such a great show but just let down by the lack of explanation
