So i'm excited but apprehensive all at the same time. I just hope that they dont' screw up a good webtoon. How are they going to end it when the webtoon hasn't even finished! please lets get her back with Suho (although based on the actors, i hope she stays with seo jun :/)
Who ever did the wardrobe side of things needs to do some more research. The dressing was terrible. Nothing ever really matched.
Aside from this, it was cute and fluffy and i had read a comment someone put about the fact that a pianist is idolised to a point of bullying. I found it really weird too.
If you skip the boring Cai Wei storyline the rest is not too bad.
Firstly, i'm thankful that it is completed in one sitting. Although the Jdrama version is over more episodes and filmed at different times (but finished). The K version which i enjoyed has not (and most likely will not) be finished which is a shame.
There are aspects that are the same but it's not a direct copy. Zhao Wo has not got the ditsy character as nodame is portrayed.
Secondly, the romance sucks and it very pure for a drama set in 2020. 3 'kisses' throughout the whole thing and only once (possibly twice) did they ever stay over in each others houses. They are 21/22 years old. Who actually does that? I'm not saying that anything has to be shown but it can be suggested. The growth of the pair was very slow for this reason and made their 'love' a bit less acceptable to the viewers. Also, its another 'i cant say i love you as its too embarrassing/not my style' type of rubbish. If you feel it, say it!
The music side of things is not as bad as i thought given other reviews. I was looking forward to them playing Mozart sonata for 2 pianos in D but then, it was something else. I found that duet scene one of the most prominent in both the manga and the drama series. This was a big mistake.
Over all, dont believe all the comments as we all have our thoughts. I did enjoy is as a whole. I did enjoy the music and i did like watching them grown as musicians and a couple and all the side characters. I had to watch this as it's one of my fav mangas and i wasn't too disappointed.
Laugh a minute. Humour right up my street. Loved it. Docked .5 of a start off for only one reason (comment in…
The very last scene, when Kang-Bae walked into the pop up bar, I wanted him to call them mum and dad but he didn’t. Was bitterly disappointed and had he of said that, this drama would have got a full 10.
I just need to say... why did they even "break up" lmao ? Like in most of dramas I get it they need to break up…
She broke up with him because she knew that Nokdu was the son of the king but she couldn't put down her need for revenge. The break up was meant to cause him less pain as she knew had she of been successful, she would have died. Of course, the breakup lasted as long as it took for me to drink a cup of tea so not much to worry about.
One of my biggest gripes with ANY drama that includes music is that the people playing never actually look as if they are playing the instrument. This drama was so refreshing as they are actually playing ... or at least do a very convincing job of it. We all know Jo Jung Suk can play instruments but i didn't know the others could .. or they at least learnt it for the role. Kudos to you all!
Am I the only one wondering how they are gonna end the show, if the webtoon, isn't finished by the time it is…
No Idea. I haven't changed my ship and believe that Suho should get the girl in the end. I think Seojun's new life as a singer will get in the way of their relationship as she is already insecure. She is not herself around Seojun as she is Suho. I don't think that he will cheat as he doesn't seem that type but i assuming it will go all the way to a wedding. I hope we get to see JuGyeong's progression in the make up world and that she become world known.
I'm only in by 5 episodes and so far i'm so appalled. I have an idea of the educational system of Asian countries and can now fully understand why the country rankings in term of grades are well up there. As a Westerner, i feel so irritated watching this. I have two daughters going through primary education at the moment and my top most priority is their mental well being and happiness not grades or the job they are to aim for. The society we now live in means that jobs like lawyers or doctors are no longer the only highest paying jobs. Look at youtubers and SNS stars! times are changing so rapidly. I will stick with it and hope that it gets better but i think maybe this drama would be better if it hits home a bit more as i only feel irritated. And one more thing, anyone that condones stealing as a game is "out". #dramastress
The ending sucks! I told all my friends not to watch it - unless they can stomach happy never after. This is my…
It’s a very realistic ending. It’s not what the viewers would hope for because everyone would like a happy ending but if you stripped it all back, the ending was the right way to go.

P.S. its going to take a while to get Wu Bai's - Last dance out my head. I couldn't wait to finish it just because of that song playing over and over and over again
Completed in two days. Very gripping. One of the first dramas to get me totally confused at points trying to work out what happened. The plot twists IMHO were weak in that once you figure things out, they are sort of obvious. Think it could have done with one more episode to show what happens after its ended. Like other are mentioned, there are a few things that are unanswered which i would have loved to have touched on but not enough for me to wrack my brains over. Solid 8.5/10

The rest of the drama is also just as amazing.
