He first caught my eye as the super hot minor/supporting character in Yesterday Once More (he played the very smart dude who secretly crushed on the main girl but his screen time was so little..) now I watched him in Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me and I can safely say that he looks hella fine as ever omg~
It started off as a romcom and the comedy aspect of it was great! Then my heart sank when they revealed the plot twist; definitely cried towards the end. It sprouted from a very minor thing so I didn't see it coming.. still a very good enjoyable movie!
At first, I had my doubts about the genres of this drama and watched it with no high expectations. But I can safely say that this is one of my favourite kdramas of all time. While some may have found it boring/slow-paced and dropped it halfway, for me, this was the only drama that I've been following closely despite my hectic exam period. Priorities, I know. I simply can't express how much I loved this series! It was light-hearted, comedic and cute yet it also tugged my heartstrings at times! The story was refreshing, the cast was perfect, every character had great dynamics, their interactions were entertaining, the chemistry between the main leads were off the charts. Honestly, LSK was so beautiful in this drama and NJH was unbelievably good looking. I'm going to miss Joon Hyung's boyfriend material scenes so much eughhhHhh. I usually cry out of sadness but the ending got me crying because I was genuinely so happy for them. I'm seriously going to miss this drama so much!!
More often than not, I always put dramas on-hold because I start to lose interest around ep 10 but with this drama, that was defo not the case ahhhh. Every episode was super enjoyable and the main lead are cute and adorable and perfect af I just wanna cry because next week is the last and omg idk how to stomach the feels ):
I've read some spoilers for the original Japanese movies, I have not watched it for myself but to those who have, do you think this Korean drama version will have the same conclusion/ending? Or at least, is it following the same direction as the Japanese version?
I can't get the image of Park Hye Soo's character from Age of Youth out of my head, so it was very bizarre seeing her act indifferently like that in the trailer LOL.
Joonhyung is officially, the absolute, ultimate boyfriend goals of all mankind in history.. He is packed with everything from the finest details, he's so hopelessly romantically, utterly adorable, extremely caring and considerate, fully aware of his surroundings, can read the mood/atmosphere, feeds the girlfriend, knows when it's the appropriate timing, genuinely concerned for Bok Joo's wellbeing, always going the extra mile, and the list is endless. His love and care for Bok Joo is unconditional. Even when he's jealous or upset, he still acts/responds reasonably (to an extent). He deserves every single ounce of happiness and love he receives!! But real talk, where do I find myself a Joonhyung? Amazon? eBay?
