It's definitely related, because HX's dad's colleague passed away from the same accident that caused her dad's leg injury. They discussed this in the episode where XZY visits the grave of his father, and HX visits the grave of her dad's colleague with the colleague's widow and the son. It shows in the flashback that the widow was at the funeral rights for XZY's dad where everyone was cursing him for "causing" the big accident.

honestly, i think esther yu just seems to choose these type of characters. her acting is an exact match to the novel. i think it would be nice to see her play a wider variety of characters, but she isn’t necessarily taking her own liberties to make characters more “cute” than they were written. i agree it can be irritating lol 😓

Chuchu getting the professor role was the cherry on top! Knowing how Dr. Myeong treated her + Yiyoung this is so satisfying.

With all due respect- did you finish the series yet? Slice-of-life does indeed mean it’s based off of life, so it is realistic. That being said, the ending was pretty darn satisfying to me. If you’ve watched Hospital Playlist especially, the ending was great.

The boyfriend was most definitely a cheater as well. He tried to get with FL while dating 2FL.

i preferred the second couple. idk. it was a bit of a struggle to get through later eps. i've liked the whole online friend doesn't know they met the other irl trope since i was really young so i enjoyed that part.

I think this might be a good time to mention that this is a live action rendition of a manga- so there is plenty more of the story to tell! (Also there is a season 2 coming) :)

If you've watched up to that point, either in episode 8 or in episode 9, it does reveal that she had never been with a man, but regardless, many lesbians do realize they aren't really attracted to men later in life, even after being with men in the past. Not to say that dating a woman after dating a man would make a bisexual a lesbian of course, but some people do realize their attraction to men wasn't sincere. Romance doesn't just have to be about sex either- if you didn't know this show is a romance that is totally fine but its good to have some open mindedness about how other people's romance might look different :)
