So far so good - but do they have to cry every time they see each other...?
I understand their pain and their history especially since they've just been reunited so that makes sense, but uncontrollably crying every time they seem to lay eyes on each other is getting a bit repetitive for me ngl

Still early days but definitely want to see more interaction than that in the coming episodes

They are all so pitiful but i'd rather they just returned to their respective pairs before things got messed up…
That's true too, after watching today's episode I can definitely see where the pride comes in - after all, if you love someone then you should fight to maintain it. It's just conflicting for me to cheer on their relationship because (if) when Hae Young finds out the whole truth behind the whole Do Kyeong/Tae Jin business incident then it'll be a devastating hiccup for her - even though Do Kyeong didn't mean to fall for her since it just happened. And this might sound strange but judging by their circumstances I kinda don't want a happy ending where they just happily end up together... and judging by the hints and previews regarding Do Kyeong's current state/future, things are about to get even more complicated. Either way, like you say, at least he has a good reason to be conflicted hah.

They are all so pitiful but i'd rather they just returned to their respective pairs before things got messed up by other people since I don't see Do Kyeong and Hae Young (2) working out. It just doesn't sit right with me that Do Kyeong broke Hae Young's relationship with Tae Jin, misspoke and inadvertently broke his own relationship, and still pursues Hae Young because I don't think he's any better for her tbh.
But I feel like things might be getting a bit more makjang... but I hope the writers don't go too OTT with it.

Wow, even though I would've liked more Seol and Jung interaction in ep 15, I have to say, I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen when Inha went crazy in that latter half.

Seriously, LSK redeemed herself slightly with her acting because the way she went bat shit crazy and then desperately pleaded Jung's father - she was so immersed in her role that I just couldn't help but be riveted by her. Yes, it's not realistic but damn, she acts crazy well. I think it was necessary at some point in the drama to have some closure for Inha so even though others may disagree, I felt like this arc was definitely needed (even at the cost of Seol and Jung's couple time). If only they could've wrapped up Inho's arc as quick as Inha's...

After the last few weeks of being underwhelmed by the concentration on Inho, this episode finally grabbed me back again.

Sad that the drama is over but I can't help but feel slightly irked by the writers in the last 2-3 episodes.

The earlier flash forwards with the blaring hints that the husband was most likely Junghwan just became plot holes, like how would Taek know about Dukseon's radio letter? Only Junghwan saw it. Taek has never been to college (as far as I know) so how could he have dated around in college before they got together? Something just feels so unsatisfactory about the ending... I love Taek but when the writers started neglecting Junghwan and created this forlorn character whose timing was his worst enemy just left a bitter taste in my mouth. I mean, Junghwan is one of the main characters and yet he hardly appeared in the series finale!

It feels like the writers set up the Dukseon and Junghwan pairing early on but, if it is as K-netz suspect, when spoilers came out they decided to change the ending. The stewardess and pilot occupation just seemed like the perfect set up for the two - but maybe that was a red herring. Or maybe just an opportunity created just in case they wanted to change the plot because with their occupations they could've had either pairings. I've always felt like Dukseon has had a platonic relationship with Taek for 3/4 of the series but then to see her change so quickly in the final few episodes just makes my heartache for Junghwan who has been crushing on her the whole time.

Perhaps they wanted to use Junghwan as an example of pursuing love actively like Taek - but hell, they didn't have to step all over his feelings like that >< Literally, every time Junghwan wanted to make his move, the writers blocked him with this 'mistiming' motif. Give the guy a chance T_T There is so little closure for Junghwan that I can't help but feel annoyed at the writers. I really connected with the family stories in the first half of the series but, imo, they really couldn't keep up the momentum in the latter half. :/

Taek is the kind of person who has a crush on someone but can only express himself with timid gestures and smiles ^_^

I think this is probably the only Reply series in which i'd be quite happy if either Junghwan or Taek was the husband - this series has done well to breakdown my biases!

I love how the writers didn't go for the obvious love triangle between Jung Hwan, Deok Sun, and Sun Woo this time! The previous love triangles were all pretty predictable so I love the direction that this series is going ^_^ I can't wait for next week!

So how did they resolve the parent situation - because it ended with Yeol wanting to change family registries?!…
Thanks for the clarification! I knew that he was talking to his mum, but i wasn't entirely sure how the whole family registry worked. So strange to think that legally, Yeol isn't his father's son anymore... I'm sure the writers could've have made this a lot less complicated jeez.

So how did they resolve the parent situation - because it ended with Yeol wanting to change family registries?! What a way to bypass the system rofl. It would've been nice if they could've ended it more clearly because Yeol will always be his father's son by blood even if not on paper lol. Ha Joonie was adorable at the end, can someone please let Ji Soo have the girl for once!

I agree with what you're saying. The drama is trying to put this message across that having good friends around you is a blessing and that we should support people because everyone has their problems.

But I think that had it been any other character, it would've been easier to accept. Soo Ah was just being salty for 3/4 of series; even though she'd always have her lapses of 'oh my god, I did something terrible' after she committed the crime, she never attempted to rectify it. She'd burst out denying all allegations and yell at the accusers for even fathoming that she was the culprit. Even when Yeon Doo was lost, she didn't even look for her, instead she just hid in her tent contemplating her mistakes rather than trying to right her wrong. On the other hand, when she disappeared during the team task, everyone tried so hard to find her. It's give and take - and it just seems like Soo Ah has taken more than she has given. Everyone has always been so understanding of Soo Ah - Yeon Doo didn't reveal her cigarettes, she didn't tell the teacher that she stole the papers, she didn't tell the whole truth to everyone about Soo Ah abandoning her. Indeed, she might not be 100% evil but she just kept telling the same old lies and tricks - she just learnt to admit them too late. I mean, even after the whole lost Yeon Doo fiasco, she coerced Yeol to give her extra time to 'reflect' only to spend all that time rummaging through his belongings and attempting to steal his leverage. This girl just has the worst sense of priorities and timing... She's incredibly lucky that everyone is so forgiving.

Exactly, you have to earn forgiveness but it feels like the writers just decided: 'well, we don't have time to do this properly, so we'll just fast track the reconciliation so that we can focus on the love lines.'
It would've been more realistic if they were not so forgiving and they gradually accepted her had she truly changed and reintegrated herself, but here they just forgave her right off the bat wrote everything off like it was no big deal. If they were going to do that, then they shouldn't have spent 9 straight episodes of making us hate her, and then expect us to change our minds with 1 episode. Numbers don't add up ~_~

So... episode 10...

So from the start, Soo Ah spread rumours; she bribed guys to injure Ha Dong; she used Yeon Doo to up her specs; blackmailed Yeol; she tried to get their teacher fired; stole the exam papers and got Yeol suspended; abandons Yeon Doo in the middle of nowhere with no means of contact; blames everything on Yeon Doo without evidence; attempted murder of Yeon Doo by shoving her down the stairs (she literally pushes her down the stairs whilst yelling 'I will kill you!'); and finally, hospitalises Yeol.

And the writers are telling me that all of these can be forgiven because she attempted suicide? Perhaps killing her off isn't a viable option, but using it as a means to excuse her for all her wrongs just isn't right either. Sometimes saying sorry does not fix everything - especially when you have wronged so many people.

Honestly, I feel like the writers have given us too many things to hate about Soo Ah to make us accept this resolve. I'm glad that she survived, but why is everyone else apologising to her and blaming themselves for mistreating her? I hate to be devil's advocate, but considering all that she's done, I think that she deserved all of those slams (and no one even slapped her and yet she manages to slap Yeon Doo twice!). If they didn't stand up to her then she'd never learn.

It's just the portrayal of Soo Ah's character that really irks me >_< I like everything else about the series especially the way that Yeol behaves around Yeon Doo! Only one week left!

How dare she yell at Yeon Doo and accuse her of backstabbing when she did even worse to her?!
Seriously, the few ounces of sympathy that I had for her has gone out the window after today. I feel like the writers are hell bent on making Soo Ah look like this character who is actually vulnerable inside, and a victim of circumstance (namely, her tyrannical mother). But she just never learns and no matter how 'human' they try to portray her in the next episode, I just can't forgive her for everything. She just couldn't increase her rank and grades the normal way and resorted to such dirty tactics.

UGH frustrating!

Loving this drama - I love how Woo Chul and Yi Jin are just revealing their secrets by themselves thinking that Hyeon Seok already knew, and he's all like: 'what are you on about?!' haha.

But the end of episode 12 though! :))
I sure hope that Woo Chul realises that she could still file for a divorce without that notarised agreement...

Getting good vibes from this.
The trailers and teasers played this out to be a full-blown rom-com but the first two episodes had a lot more emotional depth than I had anticipated. The show is still trying to set up it's premise so I don't think that the sole focus will be Soon Ae - it's still the beginning after all. It looks like Soon Ae needs Bong Sun/her body, just as much as Bong Sun needs Soon Ae in order to come out of her timid shell. Bong Sun can see ghosts so it'll be fun to see them interact without the whole possession thing.
Looking forward to seeing how this pans out!
