Overall a good drama and worth a watch. But i found the first half to be very different from the second half as I was watching it. The first half was more mature, dark and realist. Second half was more fluffy, childish and immature. I didn't realise until after but apparently the writers got switched half way through so my initial thoughts make sense. Anyone else had this experience? Overall still a good watch
I'm pretty sure they swapped writers half way through. I had the same experience. I feel like they ruined the second half with predictable and unnecessary scenes
I really appreciated the small things in this drama. The fact that characters re use their clothes (which I honestly have barely seen in any drama), their cute Pjs and even the way they sleep and wake up (not always looking perfect, not always sleeping on their back like some princess) really just added to the realism of the drama and made me love it more.
Just to clarify what I mean by this is that the whole amnesia thing just lost it for me...typical cliche ..not…
I agree with what quietpessimist said below. But I also do see where you are coming from. Whilst i'm more concentrated on what I want you're taking a broader perspective of things and have even considered the writer and production of the drama. In the end I guess my position still stays the same. Cute, amazing, lovely drama just the end was a bit disappointing for me personally.

Yes I agree with what you're saying. Not disrespecting the writer at all she did a great job and this was a fabulous drama. It's just that the end was not to my linking i guess

Whilst I do understand what you're saying I think the reason why I was calling the ending cliche is because too many other kdramas that I have watched have tended to throw in amnesia as a last minute thing when it is completely unnecessary to the plot. Whilst the way they dealt with it (the heartwarming scenes you mentioned esp the last scene with eun ha) was not cliche and somewhat refreshing I was still unable to get away from the perception that amnesia was unnecessary? Why would they throw something like this at the end suddenly but at the same time have hyun su's body remembering everything? For me like it would be better if both his mind and body remembered >.< Even if this was the case they could still have many heartwarming moments especially since he was gone for a while and promised to be back soon.
also to answer you question about why am I asking for more cute scenes: because they are just so cute and I want more of them haha ^^. Also at the start even though hyun su's feelings were genuine Ji won's perception of him is still fake as she only sees him as Hee seong. Having her know him as hyun su and having no barriers between them but despite this still being able to have cute moments was what I was looking for.
I do agree that whilst Mi Sook's husband is guilty I don't think that it is fair to punish him by not even being able to see his wife whilst he is in jail. This is because I am thinking from the perspective of Mi Sook. He is probably her only family left and I think this would just unfairly punish her more.
Great drama except for the last ep. Don't think it was really necessary...
Just to clarify what I mean by this is that the whole amnesia thing just lost it for me...typical cliche ..not necessary...I would have much rather they spend the last episode tying up everything. For example jung mi sook testifying about everything that happened and actually meeting her husband. hyun su and ji won healing together after everything and living and loving each other (as their true selves as opposed to hee song and ji won and ji won getting to know him as hyun su more) + eun ha of course. Everyone having a meal together like hae su wanted and more development for hae su and moo jin.
The only thing I dislike about this drama is the amnesia/memory loss trope the rests are great
agreed! I honestly feel like there was no need to put that in at the end..it almost made me not like the drama? really didn't see the need to put it in....I wish i could have had a last episode with hyun su living as himself (with his memories) with his family
Also can we just appreciate how pretty Jung Eun Chae is?! No make up, same hairstyle the whole way through and minimalistic clothing but still smashed it.
This drama was scary but rewarding. At first I watched the first episode last year but then I dropped it because I felt really uncomfortable, grossed out and scared. But then I decided to try pick it up again and watched it til the end and it was great. Loved the OST and acting. Would defs recommend.
It was a good drama but the only thing that I didn't like would be that sae ro yi ends up with yiseo. The romance really wasn't all there and it seems somewhat forces on sae ro yi's part. It would have been much better if he ended up with soo ah or even with no one at all.
The setup of this drama is quite interesting but I can't help to think that it's the same classic kdrama style especially with characters loosing their memories. It just reminds me of the stereotypical kdrama amnesia which affects the main couple (kind've like other kdrama cliches like getting hit by a van on the street, or always having love triangles etc.). I feel like if it weren't for the setup this drama wouldn't be rated that high or be as interesting.
