Many new to C-dramas confuse them. I did in the beginning as well.
I knew what you meant. I had the same thought when I watched her for the first time in Dream within a Dream. I was fairly new to C-dramas so I had to go check if they were the same person. She does give extra Bai Lu vibes in this. I like them both. I think Bai Lu has a better team, maybe. She seems to have more options and choices. LYT seems to be a bit more edgier which distinguishes her from Bai Lu. However, her giving off Bai Lu vibes is probably more of a negative to her career path and maybe why she’s not more popular. However, I like and support them both.
Haha. I just could not finish the last 20 mins. It was too painful to sit through. And I have a high tolerance but this was just too much. I was getting so agitated forcing myself to watch. The villain got so much screen time. WTH!
The last few episodes were so terribly edited and I lost interest. I couldn’t bear to watch Xie Jun anymore so I ended up dropping the drama at episode 30. Good for the actor to have such a huge role but I can no longer tolerate the story and can’t get over the annoying storyline. I no longer care how the drama ends. 😮💨
Let's vote for Jing Boran as US's People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" 2026 when the polls open (in a week or so). If he's not on the list of candidates, write in your vote. hahaha
I might be the only one but i like the drama more than the book.
Drama is very different so I hope you'll still enjoy the drama to the fullest and not get caught up in the differences. Just enjoy the drama at face value separate from the novel.
You guys went on so much about the novel that I went to read it and am now onto chapter 12. I guess I shouldn't…
I recommend you watch the drama first then read the novel. It’s very different so you may not enjoy the drama as much if you know so many details from the novel. You will constantly compare and be critical. Just enjoy the drama at face value and then go read the novel.
I watched it for the first time this week and really enjoyed it. It’s not an epic story but with good merits and good chemistry. Loved the side stories. Overall enjoyable. I needed a Xu Kai fix. Glad I caught this one.
He makes drama BAD. he is like night shymalan who destroyed airbended. This fools destoyed season 3 of a good…
What are you saying? He is a veteran and a talented Korean actor. He has had many hit dramas. He hasn't been in dramas much lately but most of the ones he led were highly rated.
He’s busy outside of acting for the past few years. He does many long term variety shows (like Brewer Lee series), opened up restaurants, gotten married, etc.
News
Really enjoyed all the side stories and characters.
Looks like he’s just enjoying life.
