After more than a decade I had decided to watch an airing drama and I am glad that I did.

Irrespective of what others think, this is the Romcom of the year! Everything felt right. Ofcourse people will say that drama brushed aside many things but I am glad they did and kept mood of the drama light. Ofcourse I would liked them to not shoehorn that plot during final episodes, but I am willing to overlook it as the drama kept me smiling like a fool till the literal end.

OST was perfect. Casting was perfect. Weak and forgettable second leads. Flashback scenes neatly progressed the story. Rather than dragging story till 16 episodes, everything wrapped up well in 12 episodes.

Final rating 9.5/10. Definitely rewatching this in future.

Takeaway: Somethings never change.

It was just 3 eps from 27-30 and I think they couldn't spread it out because of Song Han's hidden identity that…
Love story of Song Han can still be done in the initial part of the drama regardless of his hidden identity. You can always add few scenes later to let the viewers know his motive.

Side characters taking too much screentime near the finale is anti climatic.

It was bit long and could have easily cut 4 episodes. First half was great but MLs brother and the couple had too much screentime over the last portion. If they wanted to have that storyline, then they should have spread their story across the drama rather than having them occupying so much screentime at the last.

Final rating 8/10

This drama is very dated and doesn't work if you are watching it now. Utter garbage and a complete waste of your time. Rating it 2.5/10

It's neither a comedy nor a full-fledged healing drama. It tries a bit of everything but ends up being nothing. It's not a bad drama but a very forgettable drama. You are not missing anything if you just watch a longer YouTube edit of this drama instead of sitting through 12 episodes. I am giving 0.5 points extra because I liked a few aspects of last episode.

This drama is lot better than 7.6 rating. I disagree with the point that drama changed direction for the last part. Suspense was always the part of this drama from start. The ending was little dramatic and the weakest link of this are the second leads.

Nevertheless an enjoyable drama. Rating it 8/10

The thing which irritated me most was having no distinction between the concept of branding, marketing and product development.

I usually do not watch remakes as I don't see the point in watching same story twice with different actors. When I had finished watching Go ahead, I had decided to never watch the remake.

But when this drama was airing, I kept seeing spoilers on my timeline and realised this drama is not a remake but a romcom. While I can still write atleast two paragraphs stating the differences between both the dramas, as soon as I watched the first episode of this, I realised my initial assumption was correct and this drama has nothing much to do with Go ahead apart from the initial setup.

This was an enjoyable drama from start to finish. First half is really carried by the sunshine FL. 2ML shines in the second half. I really liked the improved dynamics and the relationship of two fathers with eachother. Unlike other dramas where second couple are just for cute factor, I liked the fact how they helped eachother throughout the drama. Last episode does the perfect job of closing out everything.

Rating it 9/10

Does MDL pick and choose featured reviews? Everyone at the top giving this 10/10 but 7.8 overall rating indicates…
If you are not liking this after first three episodes, then the chances of you liking this is low. Give it few more episodes and bail.

It's not a 10/10 drama. I rated it 8/10.

There are always drama that you can nitpick, find issues with scripts, inconsistencies, illogical behaviour by characters, life changing things being brushed aside in minutes, too many episodes dragging you to boredom. All of these things apply to this drama as well.

But, I like dramas that make me smile. Main couple made me smile and I genuinely enjoyed the feel of a drama after a long time. FL nailed her role and without doubt the highlight of this drama. The OST complimented the drama very well. The main OST was played like 100 times in this drama but it didn't annoy me like it did in Something In The Rain. On the contrary, I liked it.

The best part of this drama is the final segment and it really leaves you with a genuine smile. Guess they cracked the 'Smile Code' of how to end a Romcom. I am going to remember the ending for a long time.

I have not watched this one yet but have watched Go ahead. I have turned from 'never watching this one' to 'will watch once it finishes airing'. This is not Go ahead other than basic setup of how main 5 characters come together. This is a romcom and should be viewed independently rather than associating with the original.

Romance in Korean version seems better than Chinese version. Family bonding of Chinese version seems better than Korean version.

Both are two entirely different dramas.
