Great cast, excellent acting, wonderful music... The only issue is that after a while, I couldn't empathize with any of the characters... In the first season, I tried to justify each character's actions to some extent, but I couldn't do that this season. Although each character started as a pitiful one with a sad past, as the series progressed, a bit of selfishness emerged in all of them. So, in my mind, I often couldn't justify any of them. All the characters started acting as if there was only one ending written for them. They seemed to have accepted something and found the effort to change things unnecessary.
Cang Xuan was selfish, overly obsessed with power. He didn't hesitate to use even those closest to him for power. Xiaoyao was selfish, at one point acting as if she was the only one suffering. Xiangliu was selfish because he was never fair to himself. His selfishness was only towards himself. Tushan Jing was selfish because, despite not having physical strength, he didn't even bother to use the other powers he had.
Each character drew their own fate. Cang Xuan sacrificed Xiaoyao for power. Xiangliu always kept his feelings to himself. Xiangliu always understood Xiaoyao, but Xiaoyao never understood Xiangliu. Jing, despite being portrayed as very wealthy and intelligent, never used any of his potential and remained like a loser. There was one thing, though. Jing openly showed his feelings independently of the others. This affected Xiaoyao. In the end, Jing was able to be with Xiaoyao because he was the only character who was open about his feelings.
Everyone chose their own path. I think these endings are good for them because they didn't take a step back from the paths they chose. Xiangliu was smiling when he died. Jing and Xiaoyao got married as they wanted. Cang Xuan is now the ruler of the world. A'nian married her beloved brother. But just Fenglong died very pathetically.
I really enjoyed watching it, I was truly amazed by Yang Zi's crying scenes! I realized that Zhang Wanyi was a very fitting choice for the character of Cang Xuan. I would love to see Yang Zi and Zhang Wanyi in a more romantic series together. When I watched the behind-the-scenes, I found Yang Zi and Zhang Wanyi very cute together.

yang zi looks so majestic when she is crying... this is one of the reason why she is my favorite actress.. she literally has perfect acting skills i love HER she is the ONE and ONLY
well, i choosed tushan jing cause gurlsss xiang liu is so HARRDD he literally kill ☠️ me one minute 😇 (I'd be happy to die at his hands) im not xiaoyao i cant fix him but tushan jing just little doggy all you need is a bowl of food andddddd here is the little puppy that will follow me for the rest of my life!!! so cute he even wags his tail!!!!!! 😝
