I'm really only trying this out because of Poon. It's strange seeing Ohm pair up with anyone who's not Fluke, but I guess it's been a hot minute since UWMA
[Ep 4] Okay I'm starting to get irritated, is Khem just going to be a damsel-in-distress/twink-in-trouble for the entire series? Will he ever get agency?
Classic case of unreliable narrator. This series is actually a narrated flashback by Per and Tar, so they're deliberately glossing over how *they* fell in love. π€‘
I can already forsee Chokun doing one more BL role, at most two, then he's gonna get buff and transition into predominantly het roles, occasionally dipping into BL when he needs a career boost. Kinda like a Joss Jr.
I'm trying to understand why ostensibly I like this show but I dropped Sweet Tooth. I mean, both are GMMTV shows, both are light-hearted Y series and both have insane face cards.
I did say Ep5 is when they'll start having fights/problems, and true to form, here comes the first "problem" - dating a teacher's son. At this point I also would like the four of them (or eventually 4+2) to have more hanging out together scenes, to flesh out their friendships. Right now, it feels like a choose your own adventure, and we hop between the "ShaneKit" route and the "KimMon" route.
If this is a 12 episode show and there are two main couples, that means Ep 4 is the last "honeymoon" episode and Ep 5 is when they start having problems/fights. Hoping to see more of their acting chops then.
Aston reminds me of Almond (which is totally not a bad thing at all). Luke is cute. Unfortunately, I've seen so many people who look like Mick back in college, he doesn't stand out particularly for me.
As for their acting, I'll give it the three-episode rule.
Also I want Chakri to live happily ever after, no noble sacrifice shit please.
