Right, the last two episodes are like meh,,,, I wished they would’ve just made it one where she doesn’t remember.…
I feel like everything happening now is too too close to the ending. How are they going to wrap things out nicely without loose plot holes and a bunch of unanswered questions? I just want a satisfying happy ending.
I want many things but the two most important for me are:DFQC/XLH togetherDFQC recover his powers and hellfire…
Same! I want a happy ending (a satisfying happy ending) for DFQC & XLH so much!! And I just finished watching ep 34 and I'm like how are they going to wrap things up within the next two final episodes? I feel like there's SO much things to do still. How can they possibly finish it in two episodes while still giving the audience a good ending for our two main leads?
There's so many questions left about the Chidi woman with what she's going through and what Rong Hao plans to do next after escaping jail. I feel like this storyline needs more than two episodes to be played out well. I just hope everything isn't rushed and we're not left with a ton of plot holes. And please, please do not give us an open ending!! I don't want to interpret the ending in my own way! I want a good closing ending with happily ever after for the two main leads and everyone else too.
I miss our cute and bubbly XLH!! It just shows how much of an impression she has left on my mind and heart. DFQC…
Same!! I miss XLH's innocent and naive self after seeing her as the Goddess. They're so different from each other. And DFQC growing the little XLH seed was so cute and had me near tears just because it was so loveable. He took such good care of her and paid so much attention to detail even though she's just a little plant!
Things are getting so sad towards the end! I think it will be a happy ending based on a lot of comments but still, things are so sad. That scene in ep 32 where DFQC is in his dream and refuses to wake up because he'd rather be with XLH (even though he knows that it's not really her but a figment of his imagination is heartbreaking.) And then when the "fake" XLH is crying and begging DFQC not to leave her in addition to DFQC's facial expression of pure sadness when he decides to leave her and wake up had me drowning in tears. I can't wait for happiness to come their way!!
I kind of agree with this. I think all of the casts and the director, producer, scriptwriter, and voice actors…
True! Out of all the characters I loved his character development the most. I think DFQC was written really well. Sad for the ending episodes but I'm ready for it!!
i loved episode 29 but good lord episode 30 was so frustrating to watch LOL dfqc saying he won't lie to her anymore…
This trope has been done in other dramas before. (the being mean/lying to the one you love in order to protect them) << I hate when they do this!!
And I couldn't agree with you more. I loved XLH's reaction too because it's somehow more realistic. Of course everyone would choose the new people they found love and friendship with and keep the past in the past. She made the right choice in my opinion instead of dwelling in the past of something she doesn't even remember.
Only Didi getting more popular from this drama? See more news of him on YouTube.
I kind of agree with this. I think all of the casts and the director, producer, scriptwriter, and voice actors are all getting popular because of this drama but in particular, Dylan seems to be skyrocketing in popularity. I think it's because of his character DFQC. His character just really draws people in but I hope they're all doing well.
That's how it started for me as well. Was bored one day, not really interested in a body swap drama, but turned…
I'm glad the drama, actors/actresses, and even the director and producer are getting so much love these days. They worked hard! Super addictive well done drama!!
I can’t believe Im actually wanting this to have filler episodes, just bec I don’t want it to end so quickly.…
The only filler scenes I would want would be cutesy, romance scenes between DFQC & XLH otherwise I feel like it would be draggy. I hate when a drama adds unnecessary filler scenes cuz then I get bored and tend to drop it but thankfully this drama doesn't have many filler scenes. All the scenes are there to provide to the plot which I love!
The only things i dont like in this drama is fighting scenes really poor, end too fast, solely depend on effect…
I see what you mean but, for me, I actually really like how the fight scenes are relatively short and not too much because I'm not a fan of fighting scenes anyways. I'm here for the romance between DFQC & XLH. And all of the pretty aesthetics of the scenery, buildings, outfits, makeup, etc.
Out of all the episodes, episodes 27 & 28 had me choked up and teary-eyed. You can see so much sincerity in each character, obviously between DFQC & XLH. And, also Changheng's sincerity toward XLH and Rong Hao, Danyin's sincerity toward Changheng, Shangque's toward Jieli, and even Jieli's toward XLH. Because of this, it's heartwretching to watch them all struggle with love and the war between the Moon tribe and fairies.
I'm sad it's coming to an end but the journey was well worth it! I so don't regret being bored one day and randomly putting this on without any prior info about this drama. Definitely one of my fave c-dramas now! Can't recommend it enough.
I watched Avenuex's livestream too and I completely agreed with basically everything she said. This drama had…
That's so sad that those advertisers didn't want to support this drama but I'm sure they're regretting it now. And yeah, I feel like Dylan and Esther are pretty popular on their own even before this drama aired which helped to lure fans into watching. But what really helped the drama skyrocket in popularity is definitely due to it's directing, special fx, and smooth storytelling. An overall good xianxia drama!
Oh, and I don't remember the voice actor's name but Avenuex mentions his name in her livestream.
So Avenue X did a stream abt CLJ last nightFirst half an hour it was ranting abt yt and Google then ~20-30 min…
I watched Avenuex's livestream too and I completely agreed with basically everything she said. This drama had a relatively simple plot (similar to other xianxia dramas out there already) but it succeeded because every aspect of this drama was so carefully crafted with high levels of detail for it's budget. I don't know the budget they had to make this drama but I think Avenuex mentioned it was probably closer to low to mid level. It's just that they put the money into good use, correct use.
And yes, yes! The voice actor who dubbed Dylan's character did such a phenomenal job. Beyond Dylan's great acting, one of the reasons his character DFQC is so beloved is because of this voice actor. I also liked Esther's cutesy acting too and wasn't bothered by it much at all. She played her character well.
I hope he brings this voice actor in every project he'll have. The voice fits whd's face perfectlyyyyy
I watched Avenuex on yt and apparently this voice actor is new but wow! The voice actor deserves a ton of props for his work. It's like his voice acting somehow enhanced Dylan's acting. Dylan's acting is absolutely amazing in this drama, but for sure the voice actor is one of the reasons the character DFQC is receiving so much love.
And I agree, the voice actor's voice really, really matches well with Dylan's visuals and acting.
Well tomorrow morning early can watch again! So excited
When I stumble across a really good drama that I want to binge and am really invested in then I feel this EXACT way too! ughh... happy and sad at the same time pfft-
so far they have swapped two times, the first lasted for 10 mins and the second one for about 1-2 episodes
I watched one of the trailers for this drama and the trailer made it seem like the body swapping was the main theme of the drama, but yeah surprisingly the body swapping isn't what the whole drama is about. The body swapping only happens in a few episodes and doesn't necessarily last for too long.

But I'm really enjoying this drama right now!
