After watching the 1st ep it kind of made it clear in my head that the ending will be sad or at least bittersweet.…
I just know that they are going to be together but end up? Not so sure. I'm looking at anything that i can hold on this idea of them having a well deserved happy ending.
You would think because i watched MODC i would be okay with open/sad endings right? WRONG. So yesterday a bl update account (from my country) tweeted that the director and the actors said 'countless times' that the ending might not please everyone. (just for the record i've only seen Billkin said it once) anyways that was enough to make my timeline go crazy (including me) i am very invested on this show so that's probably why i felt it so much, i literally cried and went to sleep very angry. Anyways i checked the trailer again to see if i could catch something, any type of hint to understand the chronological order of the facts. Here's what i got:
There are two scenes of Teh crying and one of Aew. We can see in the scene where Aew asks to Teh 'So, What's next? About us.) Teh is wearing a blue flowered shirt (the same one that he appears wearing when he goes to Tan's house) So he probably got together with Aew first and then went to Tan's house where he asks if she loves him, which she answers yes. She's not happy with what he has to say so by the next day (probably) she appears in his house yelling at him (he's wearing the school uniform) so my guess is that he cries because he is afraid of his family, as there is also a scene where he's hugging his brother.
Now the second one were he's wearing a dark blue shirt it seems to be in the chinese class, where it seems to have some adults behind him. I talked with my friend and we think it may be Oh Aew's parents and this is the moment where they are probably going to be separated :/ it may be a reach of course but i can't stop to think that Aew's parents are going to be envolved somehow.
There's also the scenes where they are both wearing red shirts. I highly doubt they would put the final scene on the trailer but the scene where Aew sing to Teh and Teh says 'Even the time set us apart. My heart rushes to you. But if we have set apart by destiny, and i don't want to surrender, what should i do?' seems like a good scene to give us a open ending.
I'm probably wrong (i mean i hope i am LMFAO) but i can't help to try to analize. I hate open endings more than anything. Feel free to disagree with me and also happy ending enthusiasts if you guys have a theory of how this is going to end, please cheer me up :)
The build up of emotion and storyline is really superb and on point as each episode progress. Teh might be annoying…
Yes he's childish and ridiculous but we can understand his actions and not to mention that everytime he does something that put his friendship with Aew's in danger, they talk and get gloser. And OH MY GOD YES i'm so obsessed with this show, that one week of wait seems like a whole year.
Yup definitely better than part 1, in the last scene I don't know why they're holding back their feelings hahahaha…
I also don't know how they were able to hold back at last scene. I mean their faces are super close and Teh's sniffled on Aew's hair was so strong... If it was me i would be shaking LOL. Honestly i can't predict the end but there will be definitely a scene that Teh will realise his feelings and they will be together. (Just judging by the scenes of the trailer.)
Ep 2 was even better than ep 1 and it's crazy that they are able to mantain the level of greatness, it gives you so much excitment to watch (not to mention the torture that is to wait a whole week) The transitions are so smooth that you get so delighted (I can't think in one bl that can even touch them right now) hence i am talking especifically about the scene where the page turn from Rival to Intimate I LITERALLY CRIED and i don't cry with bl shows. Teh was a bit annoying on ep 2 but did you guys realized that they actually talk? Yes he's a bit childish but even so there's a conversation that eventually gets them closer than ever and i can't begin to describe how great that is. Everything about this show is so point that kind of scares me. The lyrics of the new ost are very fitting for what is currently happening in Teh's mind, he doesn't really realise that he's been in love for the whole time and it's GREAT because he even helped Oh Aew with his crush. That's friendship. At this point i'm just babbling about how great this show is but well it's true, should i say thank you to Nadao to actually give something good for LGBTs and a breath of fresh air from engineering students with bad attitudes?
Ah, this series has no hope at all. Final trailer was mess and so was the two teasers before. I'm glad that are some good bls airing because if i had hope that this was going to change comparing to season 1 i was wrong.
OH MY GOD, Where do i begin? I'm trying to find words that can express my feelings after watching the first episode but if this was 3 hours long i wouldn't care at all. The photography is crazy (honestly the locations are so pretty) and there is not a single awkward actor -honestly this is not surprising since the series is from Nadao Bangkok- but we do know how weird the acting can get in bl shows. Anyways, the trope is so good. I love this little friends to enemies to lovers thing. I'm so invested, i can't wait for episode 2.
The last scene was so good but so good. I love how Kurosawa was thinking about Adachi feelings (if he was going to feel disgusted or not) despite wanting it. And then when Adachi said he kind of liked it, the look on his face was adorable. I love them. They are my fav bl couple of this year.
Thought this was going to be like Kahogo no Kahoko but nope this was way more japanese style of comedy than anything else. Sometimes i laughed some other times i didnt, but ended up ok? help, i guess that was it. I watched more than half of Taishi filmography and he's so used to play the shy little weird guy but he really outdid himself here.
oh my what was ep 2? i was screaming so much, they are literally the best couple of 2020 so far and we only have 2 episodes!! this is crazy. also i love how Adachi reminds me of Haruta from Ossan's Love.
Oh My the main lead is so cute, i'm in love. The first ep was super cute and funny as expected from japanese bls, i'm looking forward to the next episode.
I felt like some scenes had their colouring edited (like their first hug on the bridge) i wish the whole drama was edited like that but Japan will never change... anyways the last ep was long af but things were clarified so i'm glad. i wish they could have babies at the end as i never got over how she lost that one. overall this was pretty good (people who are not used to jdrama probably think otherwise lol) but this was indeed good and Ryusei and Minami have a killer chemistry.
