Weirdly a lot of people root Peng, well... I think this series is pretty much 'He's what you want, i'm what you need.' Yes, sure they loved each other but Peng loved that version of Tantawan that was always willing to please and understand him, this gets pretty clear when he says he doesn't want to have a kid something that she wanted, i mean 15 years and no plans for future? i understand his job gets so much on him but in a lot of times he choose it, like working for 12 hours when it wasn't needed it. A person can only take this much.
As for Chalan there were times when he could do better for her and as a doctor as he literally heard her on ep 13 but gave up because of Peng. I actually liked them together and yes perhaps Chalan will turn into someone like Peng but i can't really picture it, he quite matches Tantawan and i see him actually asking for days off so he can be with her.
Relationship aside i wish this didn't focus so much on the love triangle like Tantawan could have some deepness added, like, girlie been doing nothing but living for Peng for 15 years, i mean, i know she's rich because of what her parents did but the money never end? did i miss something? she could have at least a hobbie or a friend, idk.
Supporting characters were good and entertaining, also i love the osts, specially the ones sang by Billkin. Overall this was fun.
i knew this remind me of Extraordinary You for a reason but instead of going downhill after ep 10 it's going to be early :/ This is not about shipping wars or anything as i actually quite like Suho but making the supporting characters resolve around the romance it's not really it (i'm just guessing by the preview) If they not gonna follow the webtoon i so much rather see SeoJun not interested in Ju Kyung.
I am finally interested in something after ITSAY and i must say the trailer was very impressive, they definitely had the budget and the shoots were super cool, idk about the date but yes i will be tuning in.
This is a show to binge watch. I couldn't do it and i was scared i would let something pass but luckily it didn't. I suspected everyone and everyone for me could have a reason and the show was interesting enough to keep me on edge. Overall this was pretty good. Also kudos to the opening song, shit is freaking good!
I must say that while everyone was pretty much involved Vegas and his family were just there. I suspected them exactly because they didn't appear enough but well it turned out that they weren't that important. I mean some of their actions leaded to something big but this was pretty much it.
I've watched a few things with Tor through the years and i must say that Yi is now my second favorite character played by him. Not just he never gave up on his family, even when everything lead against them but -now being a total fangirl- he never looked hotter lol. He and Jayler clearly stole the show.
I really enjoyed the first 6 episodes. The cliches worked with me (except when she keep falling but i think we are good now) this doesn't seem that will follow the webtoon so there won't be Ju Kyung x Seo Jun but i really hope they won't turn him into a villain or something else.
I really enjoyed it and i really liked JJ and James chemistry, I don't know if people feel like me but i also really liked the actual Love and her friends. As for the side characters i must say it's been a while since i disliked a character like i disliked Vier, my god, i couldn't stand him and i couldn't sympathize with his past at all, ugh. As production wise this was really good and Nadao outdid herself. The florest and Love's house seemed very cozy, kind of want to visit it wherever this is.
Thought the music score was pretty dope and i love the opening. As for story Nana was annoying and should launch out on Tiger instead on Sol in the first place but well she didn't deserve it. I like the ending because despite all of them getting away with their crimes, they are not really free.
I've seen P'Koi's work and its amazing, but out of curiosity, what is P'Meens work like?
Honestly on Skate Our Souls he was just one of the screenwriters but i was not disappointed by the plot at all. He a bit new on directing but i think he will bring a different color to the series.
Didn't expect to like this arc as much as did but well, i think it was a breath of fresh air that this didn't have an intense plot like the previous one which made it easier to watch, i thought it was super fun. It was also super cool that we got to see them falling in love with the sport during the episodes and i think it wrapped up well.
It's the way i regret not watching this sooner because oh my God, this was so freaking good. I can't even point exactly what i liked about this because it was basically everything. To the plot and the construction of the characters to the aesthetic to ost i mean this was another level. Never thought that James was a bad actor but never minded about him either but wow, he really did it all here.
Wow! Just binge watched it and will say the first 2 episodes were just so good -not that the others weren't- but i really felt the thrill on the first 2. The ending got me hooked and i very much need that Netflix will renew this. Also i'm so happy that Kento is leaving his comfortable field and challeging himself on different stuff.
Just finished to rewatch this and it's still as good as it was 2 years ago. Still didn't watch SOS and Shoot I Love You but i doubt i will like an arc more than this one. Gym is also my fav character played by Tor.
When i watched Side by Side years ago, i only watched that arc despite the other arcs have Hormones actors that i actually like i could never bring myself to watch it, i have no idea why. I loved the game scenes specially the last one when the ost worked so good on it, it was thrilling. However, i felt that it was too dramatic specially the first 2 episodes.
the script is thick af and pboss said that part 2 will be more intense as they are boyfriends now. guys this gonna be a roller coaster worst than part 1, brace yourselves.
