Yeah! I have heard that he likes to play on words too but that international fans like me can't quite get exactly how eloquent he is because some of the stuff he says can't be translated. I've always noticed how sweet he is, too, always rushing to praise others. Just a lovely person. ❤️

I kinda love that Khaotung was almost backhandedly complimenting Dunk ("Joong is so effortless, Dunk works hard") and First burst in like the Kool Aid man all "No I got this I'll take care of the compliments."

They're both lovely etc, but I am happy First took the reins to praise Dunk here because I see this weird sort of "one is talented, the other puts in work" a lot and it always feels like a subtle put down, lol. Like work ethic is great but also how about saying they're actually good at their job? And since Dunk gets shit on more than Joong I am more sensitive to seeing it done to him. And I love that First made sure to mention that Jojo thought so, too.

Ooh have you seen Wake Up Ladies? I keep debating that one because I've seen gifs and First's character is so expressive it kills me. Every face he makes is a reaction gif I swear. Plus Namtan who is one of my favorites too.

Nothing can make me watch The Shipper though. I wonder if they'll put one or both of them in an ensemble again this year - probably not a BL but maybe in one of those giant shows with a million guest stars GMMTV likes to do every year - think Peaceful Property, Midnight Museum, Home School. Something like that.

I think that they're both good at doing new things with roles that could be kind of samey. Which is great, but also I just hope it's not gonna become a habit that First gets stuck playing the LI to Khaotung's more dramatic characters every time. He's really really good at being subtle and I'm fascinated by his face and how it makes like 800 micro expressions and the way his eyes can convey a half dozen things at once but I do think that a lot of the hate he gets for being "unable to act" or "unable to keep up with Khaotung" are because of it. I'd like to see those people have to eat their words because I am petty. 🤣🤣

Do you mean Only Friends not The Heart Killers, since THK hasn't even started airing yet? Then again who knows lol maybe. Pretty convinced that that's happening though.

Um. I don't know if I want them doing My Beautiful Man. Maybe they could just not?

I am a First fan first and a human second, lol, and I do sometimes wish that they'd let First play the meatier roles again - he was so phenomenal as Sand but it was such an understated role and not the kind of thing that gets recognized, meanwhile Khaotung is always handed the big dramatic roles lately. And he's good at it, but I'd like to see it switched up.

But one thing GMMTV does not like to do is mess with what works, so I doubt that will ever happen. Cynically I think First will mostly play the love interest with no real meat to chew. Not that he won't make something of it anyway, he's amazing, but well. Akk sorts of roles for him are long gone, I think.

I do like him and Khaotung paired together - they work well together and have good chemistry and they clearly like working together. We'll see what the future holds.

My rule of thumb with all these shows is that as soon as I find myself not having fun, I'm out. I did it with OF and it made my experience a lot better.

People like to pit him against Khaotung It's nuts because they're both good, just because you like one more doesn't make them better. They can both be good in different ways! It's like how people pit the ships against each other here - it's so weird to me.

I actually quit going into the Only Friends page because it got so nasty. People just don't know how to be chill lol. I worry it will be like that for this one, too. I hope not.

You know what's funny? He and Khao performed Let's Try live and First hit that one high note perfectly. So he's definitely been practicing. :D

I almost felt like they did it to him on purpose in Only Friends but I don't know why they would.

I think in OF a lot of people got mad about the Boeing stuff and instead of keeping their anger to the character started attacking First. It was a lot. It will never not amaze me that people can be so awful about him (his voice, his acting, even his Kant tattoos) when he seems like one of the sweetest people alive (and also is an amazing actor, when people say he can't act I'm so baffled).

I fully agree. I don't get what it is about First but people get so mean about him sometimes. Some of things I was seeing during Only Friends about him baffled me.

And yeah, I felt even worse for him when he was talking about knowing he's not great and how nervous he gets when he has to sing. Like he's not unaware of his own limitations, but I also think they make him sing in a vocal range he's not actually comfortable with and that I can't figure out. I really hope that for the OST they let him do something that really suits him. ❤️

They've been given some horrible scripts. But I think that they're gonna shine here...especially Dunk. Thy dynamic is gonna be changed up and I really think it'll be good. I also found their other shows kind of boring, so when I say I believe that this one will be different I really believe it.

I don't think it was ever supposed to be super serious - Jojo has said from the beginning that it's a romcom, think 10 Things I Hate About You. And in my opinion the trailer was mostly unserious.

I am down for that personally. One, I've seen FK cry too much in the last couple of years. I know it's their thing but I personally want something different. Two, I think that this style (heh) plays to Dunk's strengths in particular and I am really excited to see what he does here. And three, I am just in the mood for it. I will be disappointed if it's too serious.

Can I just say you are one of the most patient people I've ever seen on here? I don't think that I could repeat myself as much as you have to all the time without losing it. Mad respect.

I genuinely doubt it'll be my favorite thing this year - too much competition tbh - but I am looking forward to it. I really hope it keeps the tone here and doesn't try to take itself too seriously. I want my promised romcom, darn it.

I doubt it will air this year, so there's no reason to rush. Better they take their time and make it as good as possible.
