I think people compare them mostly because of the wardrobe/styling. Personalities and motivations are totally…
Doomer? What is that?
I don't see Sand in Kant at all and I really hope that there isn't because people were freaking *weird* about that dude. I've never seen someone hated so much while being mostly harmless.
how are y'all already comparing Kant to Yok and Bison to Ray chill out a little 😠in what world is a pilot…
People adored Yok and Ray. They want to see more.
I personally am not one of those people, so I hope that they are not very like. But people will do what they do.
Personally I just want First to not be the one immediately in love. Come on, give me a flirty little manipulator creating a honey trap for the himbo. I've been mostly good this year.
I'll be frank though. So often when this sort of thing starts it doesn't stop. This show looks like fun and I want to have fun with it, not come here to a million whiny people complaining about an actor over and over and over and over again.
And the fact that so many comments are already like this...does not bode well. Now I am an adult and I can and will just not come here, but it will be sad because some of the best times I've had with these shows have been on MDL.
My one wish is that Kant doesn't turn into a hot pining mess three seconds into the show. Let him be messy and kind of a dick and focused on his goal and straight up using Bison to get at it, please. Feelings can come in later, after he's already done damage. I know that First does good pining but I'm in the mood for something different. I do NOT see the comparisons people keep making between them and Sand and Ray, though. To me the vibe is completely different.
As for the other two, I love the whole Taming of the Shrew / 10 Things I Hate About You thing so I am excited. I am not really worried about them not being able to pull it off - I think that they have decent chemistry and do good kisses, I just think that they have been given lackluster scripts. Hopefully they shine here. At any rate it will be fun to see them acting outside of their "usual" roles.
I expect we won't be getting this until the last part of the year at the earliest, but I do hope it's good.
I am in the camp: his acting needs improving and director has a big role in that as well (I am not fan of Off…
Oh my gosh HI you're the only person I've met who doesn't adore DanYok. Well, besides me.
(my even less popular opinion is that Yok and Dan were almost non entities to me. *shrug*)
I don't think that Dunk is that bad of an actor, I do think that it's a combo of direction and the roles he's getting. I can't judge him too harshly when both of the things I've seen him in have had very similar characters. This one though - this one looks like he's having a lot of fun and I think he did well in the trailer. Furthermore Jojo is good at getting a good performance out of his cast, so I'm hoping this will actually show what both he and Joong can do (because frankly I think both of them have suffered from the bad script and lackluster direction thing)
Ongsa is the absolute best thing. I adore her. Sun is a sweetheart. Aylin is my favorite little weirdo. And I didn't know Ciize was in this for some reason and I was so happy to see her. :D
The way I need this to take off so GMMTV will produce more GL...
I'm sorry, nope. No amount of hurt justifies taking video of someone sleeping with someone else. Much less posting…
That wasn't heroic. That was an act of petty jealousy and exposing the teacher or not (which if you ask me wasn't even on his radar he wanted to hurt Non), it completely ignores the fact that the student being taken advantage of was right there in the frame. There was nothing heroic about that.
Imagine being Jin, you deep down care for someone, forgave him even though you were being scammed, being avoid…
I'm sorry, nope.
No amount of hurt justifies taking video of someone sleeping with someone else. Much less posting it online. Nope, nope, nope. Jin lost all of my sympathy the second he pulled out that phone.
I think people forgot that non was still a student in vulnerable state against a grow ass man, yes phee has right…
To me Phee's reaction was very understandable in the moment. He's not thinking that the teacher is the adult and that he is in a position of power over Non (even before you factor in the money). All he's thinking is that he thought something was going on and Non lied to him. He's just feeling the betrayal.
I feel for him. And I think that by the time it hits him just how fucked up the situation is it'll be too late.
I think now it's safe to say he absolutely is not. In fact i would not be surprised to find out that there's a special punishment just for him. It would ne interesting if they were getting picked off in the order in which the killer(s) think that they earned it. So Por and Top, who were nasty but normal school bully level nasty, go first. Then Tee. Then Jin. And Fluke, who observed but didn't participate, will have to watch them all die.
At this point my guess is all three of the new kids are in on it, but I'm still betting on Phee and White for sure. And they have tied themselves to the two who did Non the dirtiest - Jin and Tee.
Also fuck that teacher. I knew he was gonna do something like that, I just knew it. I hope that there's revenge in store for him too.
This show is just getting better and better. I can't wait for next week.
How did I know that Charlie was gonna reveal his very not dead state to Babe at the worst possible time?
Also totally called old dude being Babe's actual daddy.
Kenta needs to let his horniness for Pete pull him away from Tony because if he ends the show still being this devoted to sexy Daddy (I'm sorry but he is) it will hurt my soul.
Why do I feel like there's a deliberate attempt to reduce rating or talk shit about The sign series because this…
>>this is my first time coming to see so many negative comments at once on here.<<
You lucky, lucky thing. So many of my favorite shows are wall to wall trash talk on here, to the point where I sometimes wonder if people here actually like any of the shows they watch.
For my own piece of mind, I stopped trying to engage with people like that, though. Let them hate. If you're having fun, talk about that! Trust me you'll find like minded people to talk to.
Returned to this comment section after a whole week to gush about the show only to see Babe's character being…
Tharn is regularly out there saving the lives of all those stereotypical strong men, especially Phaya. I think that that person just has a few issues they haven't examined and that's on them. The idea that someone needs to be Rambo to be a "guy" is so antiquated and lodged up a certain toxic way of thinking that we shouldn't give it the time of day. It's too bad they had to air their horrible take here, but we can forget it and enjoy this show for all that it is doing, and appreciate Babe and his excellent performance as Tharn.
But when non gave tha plan to open accounts he was the first to say okay lets do it, he just is an innocent bystander…
I don't know. He was part of whatever everyone thinks happened to Non, and if he were innocent why would he keep his mouth shut? It's possible he feels badly for it or there's an explanation that we'll get, but right now I don't necessarily trust that he's innocent in all of this.
I trust none of that core friend group. Not a one.
But honestly, it's making me more and more curious about Jin. He seems to feel bad for Non, he has a crush for sure, But he's still friendly with the little group of assholes and he's never said anything about what happened to Non. If he's not part of the revenge then I need to know *what* his deal is and why he's kept his mouth shut for so long.
Also, I legit gasped aloud at the end of the episode. Well played, show.
