I really liked this, which means I should have known people would be saying it's trash, lol.
It's cute. Guide is adorable, Ohm is very pretty. And there's cake. I couldn't even tell you what about it appeals to me, but it does. Excited to see the next episode.
My favorite is youtube reactors who talk or joke the entire show and then get mad because nothing makes sense.…
Oh you can respond all you like, lol. I'm not the comment police nor do I pretend to be. That said, I am done replying after this so you can have the last word if you want it.
I will add though that I have to respectfully disagree with your assertion that if a plot is solid things can be skipped. I would rather say that that makes the plot simple. Now, a simple plot in no way makes for a bad story! I love tons of shows with extremely simple plots. But sometimes some things take a little more effort. It's fine if you don't want to put the effort in, but it always rubs me the wrong way to see someone claiming a piece of media is stupid or bad because they personally don't like or don't understand it.
I am sorry you didn't get what you wanted out of this show, though. That always blows.
KISEKI. I have to admit I look forward to that more than OF every week, although I look forward to OF too. Kiseki doesn't also make me want to put my own head through a wall.
The only growth Ton needs to do is to realize he can fully embrace his not-so-inner slut while not being a complete…
I agree with all of this. I think that a s2 that just did this all over again with a new set of obstacles would make this season less powerful in retrospect.
Fully agreed about Boston. And yes I would like to see what Neo and Mark do in a series where thy are the mains and not part of an ensemble (they were great here no shade but they got the least screentime for sure).
I'm the exact same way. A last episode that ruined it all was the one from Hidden Agenda for me, as example. Endings…
Yeah agreed. I will watch the whole thing again before I give my final opinion, but I will say confidently that it's not my favorite drama of the year (that is Moonlight Chicken). It was very good though, and I one thing I felt it had in common with MLC is that it didn't shy away from the messiness of the relationships. Because most RL relationships do.
I definitely will not tune in for a second season, imo this ended in a good spot and I feel like they'll just do the tired old "break the couples up" stuff that every sequel does. I'm not saying that they'll all have HEA or whatever but I feel like no sequel ever wants to just let the couple grow together rather than breaking them apart to reunite them again.

I'm not actually talking about you, you know? you don't have to defend yourself to me I don't really care what you do or if you understand.
Try watching it. It helps a lot.
But it's also pretty funny since he used one of the sex tapes that was recorded without *Boston's* consent later.
