Well one ep in and TopMew has me in a chokehold. *That* was unexpected (I figured I'd be all over RaySand even though I'd rather not).

Ray is officially awful and I love that. I hope there's some kind of growth though because wow, that will get old fast lol.

Yeah, that's what I meant by hype working against them. People have expectations.

I think we're gonna see some disappointment regardless, tbh. But I'm hopeful that it won't be as much as it could be, lol.

Thirding The Warp Effect. I loved it. 3 Will Be Free is good too.

He also directed Never Let Me Go, which is his only real BL to date, although I don't expect this will really qualify as what we think of when we think of BL in the end either.

It would take a very lot for this to beat Moonlight Chicken for me. I frankly doubt it will.

But I still think GMMTV is banking on it being a huge hit. That's why it's been getting so very much promo. Makes sense - they have a bunch of fan favorites here, it's been marketed as super spicy, etc. People are hyped. But hype can work against you, too.

The newest promo poster is cracking me up I can't deal with it. What even is this marketing.

Haha yes this is exactly how I feel. Both like it needs to be tomorrow already and like I'm incredibly not ready.

Part of it is worry that I am unknowingly expecting things and will inevitably be disappointed, I think. But I hope that isn't the case!

In the promo yesterday First says he has a hot scene with someone not Khaotung and not in the main cast. So it's either Title, Papang, Nonnie, or some unknown 3rd party.

Aw I was kind of hoping for Sand/Mysterious NC Scene Person. :D

I'm generally really easy to please and tend to already have an idea of what I won't like so I haven't dropped anything recently, but I'm not above doing it. :D

I used to be a total completionist and then I realized I was making myself miserable. What's the point? This is entertainment; it's supposed to be fun. If you're not having a good time it's totally okay to go find something that you can have fun with. Giving myself permission to do that was one of the smartest things I ever did.

Genuinely, yes. They also need to stop making their dissatisfaction with a thing everyone else's problem.

One thing I can promise is if I wind up hating this show (or any show) I'll just stop watching. The end. Life is too short, etc.

Do we ever? LOL. I think that there will probably be at least a few - not everyone has been haunting the comment section since last year. But hopefully it won't be wall to wall complaining. Dropping shows is fine, actually!

Bearing in mind that I'm not going from any real knowledge and only my experience with both youtube and GMMTV shows...yes. I think that's the spiciest we can expect.

Have you seen The Warp Effect? They did a lot there too, but it was a lot of allusion and positioning clever camera work.

Aw, well maybe they'll get another drama next year. And if they don't, there's always The Eclipse. :)

I haven't watched it myself, but yeah. And then I think he started laughing, because I too can hear it, tbh. Trailers are often misleading in some way, that's for sure. Never trust them, they're there to get you interested and not much else.

Remember, it's spicy for GMMTV. It's all levels here. GMMTV is never gonna go the level of Kinnporsche, for example. I think that what we saw in the trailer is about as hot as it will get, and that was allowed on youtube under 18+

Well according to today's live, Sand and Ray is only FWB anyway because Ray really likes Mew (per Khaotung) and the trailer is a scam (per Force).

I'm at the point where I believe nothing. Nothing they say, nothing they write, nothing they put out on youtube or twitter, lol. I'm going into this drama as though I've heard and seen nothing.
