It makes perfect sense to me. She just got rejected by someone she really likes, and she knows Kawi really likes *her*, so why not give him a chance and try to let him heal the hurt caused by Pisaeng's rejection?

I'm done pretending that FirstKhao aren't the reason that I am interested - I have only seen ForceBook in ABAAB and I didn't finish it, and of course MarkNeo are an unknown (that I was admittedly not that into until the latest BTS pic). That said, while I do trust Jojo to give me an authentic, engaging show, I do *not* trust him to give me what my heart truly craves (and that's for San(d) and Ray to end up together at the end).

I do know it'll be a lot of fun, though. Especially if I can remove myself from getting too invested in any character but especially San(d), ha (but he's played by First so that might be a lost cause).

All jokes aside, this show really said "kindness doesn't cost you anything, stop being mean" and my goodness, people listened. I don't think that we've seen the end of Not being the worst, but I like that Kwan being so decent to him rippled outward. Because she's not wrong - it's easy to tear people down, sure, but why? Kindness doesn't cost anything more, and you get the added boost of making someone's day a little bit brighter. And genuinely, I love that it was Not she did it for, because he's arguably one of the people who deserves it the least, The show really said *everyone* deserves encouragement, even you. And I love that. I love it.

Max is my favorite character in this drama, my goodness. He's decent but he doesn't mince words. Honestly everyone should have someone like that in their life. Kawi is very lucky.

Honestly I have never been a fan of people putting themselves in cold storage while their LI gets it together. Let Pisaeng explore this new side of himself while Kawi is busy pining for someone else.

I'd be happier if this were airing the same time as one of the ones I expect to be extremely angsty/messy, like Only Friends or Dangerous Romance. Something to break up the inevitable heartbreak in the other two, ha.

Nothing wrong with fluff. And SIMM itself was cute, if not revolutionary.

I know I am! We probably have months before this show even airs and here I am, nearly vibrating out of my chair at every little piece of news.

Yeah I saw people freaking out on tumblr earlier. It's like, just chill for now, guys. They haven't even finished filming and we have no idea how long it will or will not be.

I think we're all just going a little stir crazy while we wait for a release date and get all this info in dribs and drabs. :)

Maybe wait until we get actual confirmation about an episode count before worrying? Unless it came from someone directly involved in a way that can be confirmed is legit I wouldn't freak too much just yet.

Okay have to say the BB/ATOTS crossover was an unexpected delight. As someone who never did manage to get into BB I found the whole thing really charming (even if I found myself cheering for Pat/Phupha and Pran/Tian to manifest. Or maybe Pat/Tian/Pran that would have been good too). I did find Phupha extremely frustrating but I did in the original series too, so not much of a change. Really enjoyed whatever his thing with Pat was though. They should have kissed. Tian was great but I just think that Mix has something about him that makes him utterly watchable, even when he's playing a frustrating character (not that I think Tian was particularly frustrating - I felt the core of his issue with Phupha very understandable. Whatever the dude said, never meeting his boyfriend's parents was just kinda rude, especially years into a relationship. DEFINITELY when he was planning on proposing at some point).

Adored the brief glimpses of Ink and Pa, too.

Didn't watch enough eps to really give it a review, but I have to say out of the ones that I did watch it went Eclipse > BB/ATOTS crossover > NLMG. I wasn't what I would call disappointed by any of them though - they all had their good points and I had a good time with each one. Eclipse in particular just put me in a chokehold and made me super excited for Only Friends. If I had to split the crossover up though it'd probably go

1. The Eclipse/ATOTS
2. NLMG
3. Bad Buddy (sorry I just don't care about them much, what did it for me here was how they worked with the ATOTS guys)

Overall though I really did enjoy all four of the paired eps I watched. I liked that the theme seemed to be "what happens after the get together" and dealt with navigating actual problems that can crop up in a relationship, such as physical separation, differing communication styles, etc. I'm not always in the mood for that kind of thing, but I do think that it's important to show it on occasion - relationships take work, it's a choice you make every damn day, and I like that these eps all showcased that in their own ways.

I am so impatient for this.

That's my thought too. I'm even more excited for this. Their chemistry *and* mess? I'm ready.

Oh I just adored The Eclipse episodes. Literally all I wanted was Akk and Aye being ridiculous about and because of each other and I got it. *shrugs* These two have more than earned some mundane relationship drama.

This was the only set of eps that I was really looking forward to and I was pleased with it. I might tune in for Tale of A Thousand Stars, if I remember.

Not gonna read the comments here though because I know how that goes. I never agree with other MDL commenters, especially when it comes to Thai dramas. 🤣

I agree that Dunk's acting isn't the best, but also a lot of MDL commenters are just never happy. I'm sorry but it's everywhere, especially the Thai shows. For some shows it's so relentless that I just quit visiting the pages, and it makes me wonder why people even bother watching when they always hate them so much. Is it a completionist thing - you started so you have to finish? The best thing I ever did for myself was stop doing that, honestly. It's okay to DNF shows, or with something like this, to only bother with the eps for shows you care about. I watched SIMM and it was fine, not the best but not a total chore to watch either. I'd file it under mostly fluffy but forgettable. I probably will not watch these eps because I just don't care that much. I won't be watching the eps of the shows I didn't finish either. It's okay to do that.
