hmm let's put it this way: hit dramas are #1, but not all #1 dramas are hits. especially when you have a liuliang in a drama, it can tweak it a lil because their fandoms are so massive and can easily take a drama to #1 by doing the data for it (see xz & wyb dramas). this is a web drama so there's no rating. we can only look at views and the views are decent, but not spectacular. we can also look at discussions too and so far it has been limited in the fandom.

you'll be surprise at what they can do. i'm not even gonna include wulei, zls, yuning (massive fandom too) but dilraba alone has 70 million weibo followers. anyways, i'm not saying it's a flop, i'm just saying it's not a hit just cus it's #1.

liuliang fandoms can usually get their idol dramas to #1 so it's not a good measure for how successful a drama is.

in china, her fans will post and report any weibo account shipping her with another actor. if you're a shipper, it's fine. but if you claim to be her fan and ship, then it's a no.
