so much wasted potential.... i eventually dropped it :( i really loved the first 4-5 episodes, but after that, it was about time that the story moved on but... it just DIDN'T! even though, i read that the last episode was better and stuff, but the interest left me after like 10 episodes or so. i actually loved certain aspects, but i think, this whole series had no sense of timing whatsoever, everything happened to late for me to care..... :/ it literally feels like nothing happened, except for the develpment of the CEO and yeah, habaek and so-ah actually changed in a good way too, but so much time was wasted on just whining about not being able to be together forever. there was no struggle to habaek and his powers or the kingdom and in general, for a fantasy genre, there wasn't much fantasy >_>
i am SO incredibly sorry for this long rant, but i loved this so much in the beginning, despite its flaws, but now, i'm just done with it, it took too long to get anywhere, plotwise ._.
edit: but i do have to say, there were many cute moments and also 2-3 scenes, were i laughed a lot... at least^^ (my "review" was on the negative side, but i couldn't rate it too low, since the beginning was so amazing to me and.. even though i am disappointed, i still just dream about how much potential it had and it wasn't completely horrible. i just had my standards too high! i would've liked to give it a 7 but.. i just can't, it had such beautiful cinematography and cute moments ;_; i can't stop thinking, about what kind of a masterpiece this could've been! it's sad. the actors worked hard..)
i LOVE and miss this webtoon sooo much.... i can't even describe... i wished, that LINE would still translate it.. BUT, i think i will check out this series, even though it's clearly not the same, that's for sure (the webtoon is really special to me). i won't expect much, to not end up very disappointed ^_^ (and then i'll write about it, when i formed my opinion~)
personally, i also think he kind of looks like jung joon young^^, especially his eyes :D (but joo won too! but they don't resemble each other enough to get them mixed up~)
WHAT A GREAT MOVIE. it was so beautiful and sad, the effects were stunning, the acting was top notch, the emotions delivered, ugh... it was so short ;_; i really loved everything about this, but it could've been a bit longer.. really unique story and very well produced, i recommend this to everyone who wants to experience a unique piece of art, that is poetic, sad and dreamy. <3
Forest of Secrets has ruined me - I can't enjoy crime dramas anymore because I realise how mediocre they…
idk about the others, if they missed the point of what you were trying to say.. however... i didn't miss your point, but i think the reason why Ginger replied rather coldly to you, is that the way you putted it, "sounded" quite arrogant and sarcastic. yes, you can like several dramas of the same genre indeed, but that doesn't mean that you aren't allowed NOT to like everything of the same genre. to think of it now, it was kind of hypocritical for you to react the way you did. (but i wish you a great day/night anyways! please don't be upset about me, i really don't want to hurt anybody, just stating what i feel is right and wrong. i could've made the same mistake!)
i have this weird feeling that this would be made by the same people who produced chief kim? :D idk why, i just get this vibe.. even though i didn't watch any episode yet, so i'm in no position to judge xD... i'm gonna check this out!
i actually CRIED when he said "don't go" :'( i guess i'm now a fan of song joong ki! this was so heartwarming in the first half and just as heartbreaking in the other half... ugh.. it also made me feel nostalgic in a way (maybe because it was like a story that was told by soon yi as a grandma and then revisiting that dream that could never become truth at the end >_< nomu appa.... chincha! </3)
TEN, Vampire Prosecutor, Bad Guys are one of the best dramas of ocn and they're not even on the list lol
i loved the first season of ten, but the second season didn't really... captivate me? i don't know, i just couldn't be friends with it xD (maybe that's just me..)
OCN!!!!! Love their dramas. Missing Noir M is probably one of the few I haven't watched. Looks like I need…
oh, you need to.. but be aware of that uncomplete feeling it leaves you with when you finished it.. and... it will not be very nice to you.. (there will be a lot of failure to deal with).... i hope it wasn't a huuuge spoiler? xD
if this drama had proper 21 episodes or something, and some kind of satisfying ending, it could've been a 10/10 from me! i loved the main character the most. the ost was beautiful and it had an incredible amount of potential, that somehow got thrown away, just like that ;_; (they just ended it)
