exactly my thoughts! i went into this pretty much blind, so i only knew about lee joon gi and shin min ah... but i love yeon woo jin and yoo seung ho as well!!

i am currently on episode 5, at 8:43 minutes and let me tell you... i LOVE those characters!! i love how they are so believable, so imprefect and i just love this series. it's definitely one of a kind and also, it has so many actors that i know! it's so interesting, i almost never watch historical dramas, i seriously get so turned off by the genre, but this is different.
if you are like me, who is never watching historical dramas and is looking for something new, try this! i honestly just think the characters are so well done. it may seem slow paced to some people, but trust me, watch it for the realness of the characters and the amazing acting ^_^

doesn't he look a little bit like a mixture of jungkook and jin? (bts)... xD am i the only one who thinks that?? (either way, he is very handsome.)

edit: actually, now that i googled him, i also see zico (block b) and even ha ji won in him xD what the heck is wrong with me?? i didn't even try to see that, i just did..

well, i just googled him, and now i think it's only here that they look alike... on every other picture i found i couldn't see the resemblance anymore.. taehyung or taecyeon^^
but i did see some kind of similarity with key (from shinee), because of his high cheekbones. especially when his head is slightly turned sideways.

oh yes, the villain can be really creepy, she has this "emotionless expression" in her face and voice ;_; she plays her part so well!
but for me, the ghost in the tunnel is the creepiest >_<... i hate everything that looks so.. demonic? ew~~~ that's why i usually don't watch such things, ghosts in general are okay, but if it's like this, it's too much^^ i but i still completed this series :'D haha. such scenes really only are in the beginning, afterwards it's not creepy anymore, at least much less than before.
this is kinda random, but have you ever watched this movie called "believer"? i have watched that one or two days ago and..... that was the most disturbing thing i have ever watched. seriously! i was absolutely disturbed. i really really regret watching it xD i even wondered "what am i doing with my life?"... definitely one of my lowest points, lmao.

this movie probably had the most disturbing scenes that i have seen.. ever... maybe because i usually don't watch stuff like this.... i don't know, i gave it an 6, only because the acting was really really good and the story was objectively seen good, but it left me feeling so..... empty >_> i only watched this for ryu joon yeol... my goodness, and these crazy characters in the beginning, they were disgusting af omg! ;_; i really really got disturbed from their scenes the most.. i know it's "just acting" but that definitely crossed a line for me.

i have to agree.. i am at episode 6 and it has yet to blow my mind... it's good, but like you said, it's not extremely special^^ well, maybe i'll continue with it someday and change my opinion :)

okay.. so as said in my previous comment, i'll talk about that ending:
so, it was not exactly the best ending, it was kind of rushed and i generally am not a big fan of an open ending. but on the other hand, i MUST say, it is one of the best open endings imo. i think they still did great, even if it was like that. i would love to see a mini series or a spin-off series as a "second season"... eventually he IS going to leave, which is very sad, but it is what it is.
actually, i have to say, i did wish for him to survive and get together with yeo wool. i understand though, for the sake of the story. then again, i was a bit unsure if i like that they made him come back as a ghost for a second, but in the end, finally decided that it was the better choice! it is helpful, it made sense imo, it made the "ending" not too sad and i really do hope, we can see a "real ending" in form of a mini series or even a movie (but i think that's a bit too much to ask for). oh, with "real ending", i mean, a a few or at least a last case with da il and him finally crossing over. i know, it will probably never happen xD....
nonetheless, i think it was very well done, it has been a LONG TIME since i finished a kdrama!! i finished this one. so i think, it's fair to say, this made me feel things. the story in itself was nice BUT the characters made me stay. <3
i also added daniel choi and park eun bin to my list of favorite actors. both are so good-looking and talented. they have good chemistry and i really get the feeling that they are such warm-hearted people in real life too. i saw them on happy together and i just.. i love them~ they should certainly reunite as a duo in a project one day!
okay! i thought i was going to write 2-3 sentences and that's it, but i kept rambling and got a bit carried away^^
i recommend this drama!! but like i said in my previous comment, beware, in the first 6 episodes or so, it can get pretty creepy. but everything else is just TOO GOOD. i really think, this drama is something unique. i love it, and if they do some kind of continuation, like a mini series or just anything, to make me see the "real ending" that i described above, i'll give this a 10 outta 10!!! seriously, that open ending was the only reason as to why i gave it a 9.5 xD i am so salty when it comes to things like these, haha.

while the ending wasn't perfect, i still loved it very VERY much! i must say, beware, it IS creepy in the first 6 episodes or so, so for those out there, who are like me and can't stand horror stuff, you might want to prepare yourself to occasionally cover your screen at certain moments and to turn down the volume a bit, BUT it gets much much less creepy in the second half. i would even say that it really isn't creepy in the second half. i didn't stay for the horror stuff but for these wonderful characters and this amazing storyline. i got a few sentences more to say, but i'll post a new comment, even though i'm not gonna talk much about the story, it could still be considered a "spoiler" so yeah... i think you can read it, if you want my opinion about the ending^^ overall, the drama was almost perfect for me~

i agree that it results in amazing scenes and stuff, but the actor can really suffer from it

i hate horror stuff so much xD but the characters are too good.. just close your screen at creepy moments and turn your volume down and you should survive :D <3

BECAUSE IT IS SO ADDICTING!! i mean c'mon i am stuck at episode 12 now, because i started too early xD i was too curious. i love it! it is REALLY good. but also REALLY creepy at some points, gotta keep that in mind~ i am just not good with the horror aspect of this, i was really at my personal limit for some scenes^^ i usually don't watch this kinda stuff, see how good it is, that ME who is such a horror hater loves this? but believe me, the characters are the ones who truly make this series shine imo. they are freakin' awesome. i like the actors so far, even in real life they are so likable!
the story is so well done and as of right now, there were only like 2 tiny details that didn't make sense to me, but everything else was very tought-out so far :) try it! (gosh, i love the characters. did i just say this twice? yes i did.)
