this is a bit late, if you don't mind, I can give you jdoramas instead as @Deeyut mentioned kdramas already (strongly agree with Run On). And also because jdoramas tend to have fewer episodes that might be bearable :D Nagi no Oitoma, Perfect World(wheelchair), Kikazaru Koi ni wa Riyuu ga Atte (romance), Nishiogikubo Mitsuboshi Youshudou, Bokura wa Kiseki de Dekite Iru, Ore no Hanashi wa Nagai (family), Koi Desu: Yankee-kun to Hakujou Garu (blind)
Bonus: movies When I Get Home, My Wife Always Pretends to be Dead (2018) - this was the movie that I wanted to drop in the middle and only appreciated it at the ending, this is the one that is boring but the captured the life genre beautifully.. :) To Each His Own (2017)
I like SoL mostly because it gives me the "I am so glad to be alive" vibes. :D
I was like, are these siblings not close at all? but then the bbq scene made me realize that maybe they are just…
and also the family dynamic. There were few quiet scenes, with everyone just ignoring everyone . hahahah (not used to it, but was refreshing :D), I thought they would be more loud though. hehehehe.
this is what slice of life is all about. You get to relate to one or more characters in this kind of genre, and the reason it is my favorite genre, although that does not mean I love all SoL because it can be boring too. hehehe :D
a first love story that did not end up together, nevertheless, kept their friendship. (lowkey still not over 2521) I just hope there will be no infidelity involve, and rather a genuine and fun platonic relationship. :D
Watched this weekly while still airing.. I came back today months after it ended, and I see new comments saying…
I am not here to encourage nor discourage. I just want to vent out what I observed :D Let us watch what we want, and drop what we felt like a waste of time ;)

I think this is the difference between binge watchers and those who watched 2 episodes weekly, because I admit that this was a bit slow, but not boring :)
Watching Koi Desu: Yankee-kun to Hakujou Garu right now, and I am truly loving it. I read few chapters of the manga, but making this as a drama series, made me appreciate how they bring awareness to society.
The cream of the top, is knowing that she also wrote the screenplay for gokusen which is one of my all time favorite. I might start calling her king of manga adaptations :D
You can try it someday, when the time comes :)
I strongly recommend run on as @Deeyut has mentioned :D
