I have seen a lot of dramas that have beautiful right-on-the-kokoro monologues, but Kwon Do Eun is one of the few who writes harmoniously beyond monologues.
I did not like Yu Rim at all in the past episodes. She was rude and I was annoyed that the writers seems to want to win the audience’s sympathy which made her “home and family” scenes forced.
It was just until today’s episode that I kind of want to understand her.
Fencing was the only thing she knows in this world. She’s still in highschool. She is too young to see beyond herself and look into others’ situation. She was burdened by the things she loved the most - family and fencing. It must have been hard for her too. It does not justify anything but seeing Hee Do fighting and taking her side, she has now able to see beyond her self, her own struggles. She has realized that there are people, aside from her parents who truly care for her.
Nam Do San (Nam Joo Hyuk’s character in start-up) gave me a trauma and I am more than happy that Yi Jin cleared up the Injeolmi misunderstanding right away.
in the synopsis, "She then learns that she does not have much time left to live". She has cancer so I am just guessing based on what is available info we have. hehehe. Please don't take this seriously. These are just my wild and random guess.
I truly hope for more progress on the story :) Let's wait for more episodes. eheheh
All fairly standard drama tropes. If you think the "can't recognise her in slightly longer hair and eye makeup"…
I am enjoying both drama, these tropes existed for a long time and evolved through time, and we still love to watch them. I mean, in real life, it is hard enough to get a good view during a fireworks display, and these dramas are getting it in a regular basis. Ahahahha.
SPOILER but not really... She has cancer She claims to be his fiancée He thinks she is her first love (through the dress) He falls in love with her She dies True first love steps in They fall in love Crazy Love
The title and trailers gave us hints that this will be a mess up drama, but, this is more messed up than expected. Nevertheless, I am not dropping this yet.
How much hate should you bottle up to claim that you are his fiancée? hehehe. I am just glad that they showed who the culprit is, then we can peacefully wait for next week. :D
You can expect from no other than the same writer of search: WWW which has 3 female protagonists.
