I rewatch for cinematography.
previously, when I rewatch a drama series, I set it to 1.5 speed because I already know the story. But with this, I cannot, because it is a waste to not appreciate again the beautiful shots. The expression of each cast with every ounce of feeling that they convey.

I am glad that I am rewatching this :)

last year was so hectic, this became a comfort.
Rewatching it this year, had my share of feels. Too much, that it also got me emotionally dependent. Which I see is a bit negative.

Watched episode 8 expecting all the hand chemistry and kiss dump. Gaaaaah, the cinematography definitely made it more special and outstanding than the rest. Also, I don't know what has gotten into me when I wrote about episode 4, but rewatching this without skipping until now, got me invested yet again to the yeonsu-choiung ship. I thought I want them to stay friends, but I changed my mind and that they are both meant for each other. As what Sol-i commented, these 2 brings trouble to everyone around them. hehehe.

I think I was just i fluenced by a comment that said something about the red car of adult hee do and the green luggage bag of adult yijin. Which was interpreted as stop and go. Being stucked while the other one was moving forward.
When one get invested in a drama, one would just misinterpret details like that. Ahaha.

just finished rewatching episode 4 and this hurts. I forgot how bittersweet this was.

as for teenage to adult of which I also saw was recommended and I totally agree with, is reply 1997. reply 1988 is also great in portraying family life :)

sportifywrapped made me visit the 2521 page again, and I somehow ended up in the writer's page in which I am surprised to read a lot of 2521 reviews, hehehe

so let me jump on the bandwagon. Writer-nim is very genius (or are we just used to being clowns? hahah). Despite giving us strong hints of they will not be the endgame, she gave us a faint hope, and even in that thin strand, she was able to hold us until the last episode.
The daughter has a different surname, and the title which was inspired by a song that clearly sings about a break up. these were the hints, but the chemistry, the dialogues, the tears and emotions made us deny otherwise.
The middle of the last episode had me convinced and stopped hoping for an endgame. The conversation of our main couple gave light of what were their situation in each other's perspective. We see hee do, "moving on" and getting married to an "unimportant-because unidentified-stranger-to-audience." I can handle that much, until it was back to the present and she start reminiscing at the closing scene. Like come on girl!, you were the one who supposed to have move on first, don't give us that being sentimental feeling now that it is the last minute. If they were not the endgame, writer should have given us a convincing ending that it was for the best. Adult Hee Do seem noncholant at the beginning, but then started to care again and actually went to the tunnel, as if to relive their moment (girl, you had a choice, and you did not seem to have lingering feelings at all, until you had it again..). They need to be happy or stuck with regrets (I might be talking about only you Hee Do), pick up a side and give us a closure by portraying it clearly!

still, kudos to the writer, and I will still watch another drama by her.

personally, I recommend you Our Beloved Summer, the character relationship is similar, I would also recommend WWW, just because it has the same writer, so it might be the writing style that you want. If you want a warm drama about sports, you can try run on. there are more I can recommend you according to what specific similar you may mean :)

and this is me, trying to do logic out of human emotions of which might not be a good idea..
I mean how could you go back to the person you badly hurt and you being hurt. This is good in dramas, but I am not sure with reality.. they are in a different timeline but I don't think it is worth the risk to be lovers again. their case would be 1 in a million.. For now, even after shipping them since last year, and getting the ending that I want, I am still not able to decipher the logic of getting back together..

this time around, I want them to stay as friends who bicker. this could have a great potential of portrayal of pure platonic friendship. I might change again my mind in the later episode, but for now, I am in a stage where I am seeing them without the biased of anticipating for them to end up together. Now, I genuinely just want this to be a story about youth who become friends, lovers, ex-lovers, to being friends again, and find new lovers who they can love again fully without reserve..

I think this is an effect of 2521. although I am still in angst because I was just not convinced (in the middle of the last episode, I was very ready to accept of their ill fate, and then the last 5 minutes ruined it because of the hint that hee do did not move on at all, or that is how I interpreted it, I might have to rewatch that one too..). but IF (만약에man-yag-e) in this, if (만약에,만약에) they did not end up together, I would have accepted it fine and I trust that the writers will do well in being able to convince us otherwise of not being the endgame...

Also, this might just be me being curious of a different ending, because I already got the ending that I wanted..
