Thank you for your comment! You are right, if we consider artistic liberty almost all the titles mentioned in the…
That makes sense and I get what you're saying about the translation. As for the grammar part, you say this: "'Boys over Flowers' is grammatically incorrect. In English, comparisons are made over like-minded objects/subjects. 'Boy' refers to a male child. Comparisons should be made with either a female child or child of any sentient species. A flower is the seed bearing part of a plant and therefore, not like-minded enough to be compared with a boy. (In case you don't understand what I meant earlier. Imagine the flower as the mother, so, you can't compare the 'mother' with a 'boy'. You can, however, compare the 'mother' with a 'father'.)"

I don't see how the saying itself, "boys over flowers," is grammatically incorrect. Why is it grammatically incorrect to compare boys to flowers as opposed to comparing a "female child"?

Review Metamorphosis Spoiler
"It's basically a variety of demons and poltergeists rolled into one." It was implied that this was not a simple demon, but rather a powerful demon that may be Satan.

"The demon can also handle crosses and can apparently mimic an exorcism, reciting Latin verses without flinching." I don't speak Latin, but I thought the demon wasn't mimicking the exorcism. Rather, it was saying something else that made the mirror (I am assuming the mirror is something holy) set on fire. I thought of that scene as a way of showing how powerful the demon truly was.

"But the later on he died on a cross.... huh." The cross is not what killed the demon. Because Jongsu made himself a permanent vessel for the demon, the demon could not escape from Jongsu's body. From my understanding, he used the cross to kill himself because it was the only thing close by that he could find as the demon slowly weakened him. I also believe that the use of the cross to kill him was meant to be ironic.

"Jong-Su thinks that the elder daughter is the demon, while in actuality he has been actively going round pretending to be each member of the family at will." I don't think he thought the demon was the daughter. Instead, he thought the demon was pretending to be the daughter. He gave everyone holy water to see if the demon was currently with them, pretending to be someone. I do think it was a plot hole in that it was unclear where the actual daughter was during that time. Was she out? In the bathroom? Asleep?

"he arrival of the other priests from Manila was such a stupid thing, since all they did was die like flies." I have to disagree. I don't think it was stupid. It made sense that Jongsu would have a professional he trusts do the exorcism because he is too traumatized from his failed exorcism. And the priests' arrival was needed to push the plot forward. Could they have chosen a different way of getting the plot moving? Absolutely, and honestly, I think I would have prefered a different use for the priests. However, I can see their purpose. And they didn't die, btw. They were just injured and unconscious but you later see that the priest is alive. My question is how the uncle was able to be treated and return to the house just in time to stop the demon. They definitely could have done that entire scene differently. And personally, I would have preferred if while the uncle was unconscious because of the car accident, the demon managed to kill the whole family. That is where I thought the story was going when it was shown that the demon was pretending to be the uncle, and it would have been an interesting and tragic ending imo.

"The final hug scene between the family was weird because the mom never asked 'hey where's my other daughter btw?'" I agree this was weird, but I think that there was a silent question and answer between the mom and the dad. The mom looked at the dad after realizing she was only with two kids. The dad was emotionally distressed and ready to burst out crying. I think her looking at him was "where is Hyunjoo?" and his expression was a moment of overwhelming realization and distress because he is now able to actually feel and understand that his brother and daughter are dead. Before, things were too chaotic for him to pause and process all that happened. However, the writers should have mentioned Hyunjoo more because it is indeed unrealistic that the parents would not be concerned even in the chaos that a child is missing.

I had to comment this to give a different perspective on some of the points you made in your review.
