I am no professional, so honestly, I cannot say that any rating I give a drama or movie is accurate or deserved. Ratings just depend on my personal preference, and as for anything in the world that involves an opinion, not everyone is going to agree with me, and that is fine.
Surprisingly, I am very picky when it comes to dramas, and I typically avoid (hetero) romance but am willing to give it a try if there is actual chemistry between the characters, and they're likable and not based on heteronormative, cliche, bland bs that dramas love to have. As I said, I am picky. But weirdly enough, I am also not that hard to please.
My favorite genres are horror, supernatural, and anything that involves murder (specifically serial killers). I especially love "dark/sad" plots where subjects touch on issues such as abuse, mental health, trauma, and family issues simply because I like to see these topics being handled in a (hopefully) realistic way. I do not particularly care for comedy, mostly because a lot of what is "comedy" is actually just... not funny and overexaggerates everything. However, if the acting is right and the story is interesting, then I can enjoy some comedic movies.
As for my personal life, I am a graduate student. I listen to a lot of music, and if I were to list everyone I like and listen to, then this would end up becoming an essay. All I can say is that I bias Jimin (BTS) and Felix (Stray Kids); they are what the kids call my "ults". I have been watching asian dramas and movies since around 2016, but have only recently begun giving them more attention and appreciation.
I am currently studying Korean (just for fun) and would also like to learn other languages such as Japanese, French, Italian, Arabic, and maybe even Russian. This is all that I can think of, so... if you read all of this, my only question to you is... why? But nevertheless, feel free to talk to me because I love talking about dramas, movies, and music.
