Kind of. The two dramas are not related, but in Chinese mythology, Donghua is a god (Dijun), and he's in many…
thanks for the explanation, I didn't want to mix or compare it, but I was pretty confuse before because Dong Hua in this drama is quite different than in Chinese mythology. thought it's another god with same name.
Is Donghua here the same as Donghua Dijun? I see he also wears purple robe and has silver hair, but seems like in this story he's not the oldest or the most respected God like in the Chinese Mythology.
they built up the romance between so bong (which is a combined soul of both SY and BH) and the king and not BH…
yep they sold it like that, but sorry i didn't bought it. basically SY's only contributed the hormones, body's and memory. CMIIW, CJ fell for (and even confessed to) BH's personality, and while BH's in charged of SY's body, he's fully in command, so it's 100% BH's personality.
the King did eat the food prepared by the queen, at the festival event he hosted.
Did you mean ep 12? I paid extra attention to that scene, but i never found when he really tasted it. if someone has the link where he tasted it, please share it with me
They are expecting the guy will end up with the King LMAO that's ridiculous the WRITERS are so brilliant this…
just sharing my disagreement here.. 1. if they plan to let SY be the endgame, then they should let SY appear few ep before. build up the chemistry, romance whatever then convince the viewer that she DESERVES it. It's 20 ep drama, and SY was never present for the entire series. Heck, she appeared out of nowhere at the end and without doing anything, she gets the boy. (Take Oh my ghost for the example) 2. It's always been about Male soul in Female's body, the romance from first ep was between the MALE soul with the MALE LEAD. If they have a problem with the sexuality then don't adapt it from the start.
wth is the last episode??? all these times, the writer was building the romance between BH (in SY's body) & CJ, but on last minute they change it to SY and BH. SY was never present for the last 19 ep, and SY's personality is nowhere near BH, so it's a total nonsense for BH to end up with SY at the end.
And, really, the king never tasted any of BH's food for these 20 ep?!
Overall, i would recommend anyone to watch it, it's been wonderful and one of the funniest drama among hundred's drama i've watched. Sadly the ending is a major disappointment. And i'll definitely rewatch it someday though only until ep 16.
Ps : To future watcher, my only suggestion is don't really invest to BH's and CJ's romance so you won't feel betrayed at the end, but it's impossible because they have great chemistry. Happy valentine.
Could someone help me, like is there any drama like similar to this one? Like comedy, action, romance and catchy?
i would recommend "You Who Came from Another Star", the similarities are this too has fantasy elements, sizzling chemistry between ML & FL, and the FL is extremely funny. This drama was booming while airing.
i really enjoy this, my main concern is how they're gonna end it. So Bong is soooo funny, and the chemistry between the royal couple is superb. I doubt they're gonna end it like this, but i don't want Bong hwan to go back to the future or die.
the synopsis sounds fun, i would love to watch this, but I'm not really into detective, investigation story. I tried 2 eps already, it focuses on the investigation story, should I continue watching it?
hahaha but ep 1 is the only good thing adout this drama !! :P
yes, the father story is so heartbreaking but still one of my fav! after rewatching the 1st ep, i still can't believe now we only get messy plot. it's like the first few eps and the second half were written by different people.
