i like the romance between lixuan and youlian.. so i don't mind having the drama with what most all of you called "plot non exist" . And i genuinely felt youlian acting is fine. Jiayi is a good actor, in AMA she could pull off many expression. so it think it was just youlian character, and i kinda like her character, cute. And honestly, their romance made me in emotional roller coster.
but i think what i felt like it could be improved is the youlian's master. the thing is, youlian doesn't learn how to be spy before (what i see in drama), and she was just... what? not an adult too, so i could understand youlian feelings. but the master tho, he's just stupid. if he just allowed youlian having relationship with lixuan with the intention to take the token, she would get the token easier than breaking lixuan heart more and more.. like keep your friend close, but your enemy closer (?) .. the betrayal from our most loved is the most hurt, no?

ahh..~ i read some of your spoiler like there is lack of romance.. but i hope it was happy ending ... im tired seeing sad ending in many chinese drama.. they are abusing my mental.. i cant handle it.. hahaha
