I felt like people expected his character to be kind and good guy after reborn. Wasn't it redemption arc for him? He was not a "good" guy in his past life. I wanted him to be stay true to his revenge and play the rich game beautifully. No need to be good lawful guy.

Yeah. Because, I just thought, similar case to Minyoung, actually Hyunmin character was exactly like Minyoung. Hyunmin has little screen time, especially the scene with Dojoon. But how could Park Jihyun with little screen time has that big impact and even trending in S.Korea?

i just thought, if it was other actress, like Han Sohee or Han Hyojoo, maybe the chemistry would be there.

Anyway, I skipped their scene together because I couldn't feel that love in the air and felt awkward. I still watched her scene when she was being a prosecutor. And after I skipped their scene, it didn't affect anything. I could still follow the storyline perfectly.

I have a thought that maybe the nonexistent chemistry between DoJoon and Minyoung was because of the actress. I couldn't help but imagine Minyoung was played by Han Sohee... damn.

Anyway... I kept mentioning the chemistry between them and ranting because.. this was the only flaw that I noticed in the sea of good chemistry of all actors, a good main plotline, and interesting fun characters. I couldn't help but comment on it.

Their relationship was only described with just a couple of lines in the original story. Minyoung was not involved at all in Dojoon's fight with his family. She just appeared less than 10 times in the book. The drama stretched out the romance part too much.

My problem was not about stretching out the romance part, but how they did it. It felt forced and the chemistry between the pair was bad. Anyway, this was just my opinion.

Yes, it was not a romance drama. The main plotline was well-written. But the writer included a romance and it felt forced. In addition, they have no chemistry at all together.

Minyoung scenes alone as a prosecutor were good. But in their romance scene, I don't feel the sparks at all 🙃 and I knew that not only me who thought this way bc it was on the news "song joong ki's wors drama couple".

I had a rant for Minyoung bc how bland her character was in early episodes and how awkward their romance scene was, it felt forced. But recent episodes, the scene where minyoung alone doing her stuff and acted like a good presecutor were actually not bad.

But i still felt the romance scene was forced, unnecessary. It would be better if the writer make their romance like drama Secret of Forest: Bae Doona and Cho Seung Woo characters relationship. It was platonic collague relationship. But well.. this is just my preference soo..

I honestly felt sad seeing him like that. Imo he must think that even lion would not eat its cubs, so he was in shock knowing his own family wanted to kill him. Though I knew he was not a good person either with how he run his business.

So goodddd... ep11 MVP is DoJoon's driver.. i almost cried.. also.. gosh Lee Seung Min, the grandfather, acting was soo good.. this episode was A++

I prefer this drama not to have romance bc the earlier episodes awkward romance. But episode 10 was better than earlier episodes.. however i also still think the drama was better without romance

Yoww ep10 was so good. I thought the climax would be in later episodes but it turned out, it happened in ep10. Well, it was only 16ep. Understandable.

tbh, I said "she did a good job in Hospital Playlist" because she truly acted like a boring country bumpkin female doctor who knew nothing about falling in love. Her character was like that, and I think she did a good job showing that. Because I felt that way. She did have some moments. But as I read your criticism, I remembered skipping a lot of her scenes in Hospital Playlist, and I watched her scenes only where her funny friend was with her or the male doctors. LOL.

But the thing is, her character in reborn rich was described as the goddess of SNU law school and she was from a prestigious law family. This was completely different from her Hospital Playlist character. 😭 honestly she could not give this aura of a woman from a prestigious law family. And I don't think her character was about her denying she has privilege. I think she fully embraced that.

I think this was mixed between her being bad in this and her character being bland.

I've read a spoiler of the novel in a forum. The romance was just told in a couple of lines. They met. They had a date. They were in a relationship. He bought her an apartment. And they married. LOL. It was truly about how he took over Soonyang's company and his fight with the family.
