im really confused, just started watching this on netflix and even though the description and the pictures of the episodes are in the saguek when i click play on them its just the modern story??? really confused anyone else having this problem LOL im on episode 3 now and its just been them at high school i was expecting clips of saguek in between or something.... am i being stupid? the description for episode 3 says something about her marrying her fiancé in the olden times or something but thats defo not what happened xD
can someone just spoil this for me and give me a clear summary of what happens. its tooooooo painful to watch and the comments are making me curious haha
THIS MADE ME SO FRUSTRATED FOR MAJORITY OF S1 AND S2 but I regret nothing as it was so well done. yes the acting…
All throughout the last episode I was on the verge of a mental breakdown because I thought the ending would really disappoint and answer nothing but the last 5mins or so redeemed it skilfully. Yeah I still wish they had a more concrete ending (and showed some KwanXWin moments PLZ) but they hinted nicely and left the rest to imagination. Every character got the best ending for themselves imo. Dao's character for me was amazingly written. I hope its explored more in S3 although reviews making me not want to watch it because I want to end Hormones on a high image lol.
THIS MADE ME SO FRUSTRATED FOR MAJORITY OF S1 AND S2 but I regret nothing as it was so well done. yes the acting was below average and the ending was rushed and vague but I think the characters in this whole series were so so so so well written, and really relatable. The whole dynamic of the school and the relationships and general slice of life vibes were spot on and really out of the box.
Some really shocking scenes and some really funny scenes. REALLY AMAZING HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU CAN SEE PAST BAD ACTING FROM MOST CAST MEMBERS. also blatant distracting product adverts at every chance. Even though I found some main characters annoying I still rooted for them, and really felt them change and grow from s1-2. I wish there was a season of them all in university!!!!
No, his dad didn't drink the black flower thing, he just killed himself. Some signs suggest he (Oh So) dissolved…
totally agree. although they showed a scene of the dad holding the black powder so assumed that maybe he did the same??? regardless it was such a mess lol
so his dad is probably alive and well somewhere with no memories?? and if they fall in love again they are obvs going to have the same issues and their children will have the same issues???? literally the most stupid ending ever.
wtf was that ending LOL the most anti-climatic ending that answered 0 questions it was already wavering around 6/10 until then but the last episode totally killed it. WHAT A SHAME.
people keep complaining it didnt stick to the original ending but its just a 'LOOSE' adaptation of Les Liaisons dangereuses so its really not that deep...
anyway i agree this started very well and kinda went downhill but was still very compelling and a must watch for me!!! big fan of the story and aesthetic. I think Joy got increasingly better throughout the series too (or maybe just got more used to her lol)
