It really felt like they just changed the love interest too suddenly and then disregard Jung Hwan. I haven’t completed it yet but that’s the impression I get so far and from comments. Like a new writer came and changed everything?? Feels inconsistent which is offputting for me since they really build him up as a character to then let him fall flat. Maybe I’m shipping too hard LOL??? As I said i need to finish it to finally decide but if they changed direction to suit Bo Gum’s increasing popularity (as ive been seeing a lot of people mentioning) then it just seems a bit ingenuine!! Personal opinion tho it’s still definitely on the of the best dramas as a whole but just a small thing bugging

Ok so I read somewhere this is currently the highest ranking cable drama out there. I watched up until episodes 6 then had to stop but keep floating between the idea of starting again... but the really dramatic shift between who she was meant to end up with was really frustrating to me. I love reply series and while everything else about this is great the change in direction was so obvious and off putting??? Also personally I think 1997 was far far better am I alone in thinking this??? Will have to finish to confirm my feelings haha but I know the ending will upset me :’(

AGREE!!! From now things are going to get way more complicated and less focused on their romance and more on the melo..... sadly. Parents story line is so boring!

her acting is good enough to watch this drama, which is worth watching so far

i agree that they are all toxic but we aren't even half way through yet, i definitely feel like this is going in a direction which involves them all to go through self development and changing and getting back at their parents and taking over etc (generally becoming better people)
I HAVE HOPE, and also chaebol dramas usually go that way lol
sooji is becoming more friends with the homeschooled girl, tae hee is changing shi hyun etc.... i think their plan to mess up everyone elses lives will end up impacting their own more than others

i mean i think the whole point of the trio is that they have had such messed up upbringings that have wrapped their view of the world and relationships etc.
they have no problems using other people to get what they want
him poisoning kyung joo didnt seem too out of character or wild to me, baring in mind the worse things that they have done between them three so far

yoo we have to remember that she's playing this hard to get image even after she said she liked him and so she probs just thinks hes doing the same and thats how they flirt (getting angry and acting awks). i dont think she has reason to doubt him yet, and she said she thinks she likes him she hasn't fallen crazy in love with him yet she's just interested, i doubt anyone would suspect some wild scheme behind everything haha
also everyones like 'she saw the condoms *red alert*' i mean..... every boy in their 20s keeps condoms around she's not a child lol i dont think that something that should put her off

even tho i love Oh Soo, in terms of who she should have ended up with it definitely should have been Jin Woo. Hes actually been so loving and caring to her as well as moving her mum to the hospital and physically being there and doing everything. Oh Soo just kinda comes when she needs to cry which is annoying cos Jin Woo did all the hard work!!! major 2LS. Oh Soo hasn't done much that deserves her to love him already.... hope that changes or itll be a unsatisfactory ending for me haha

Totally agree with everyone that the story line in a mess, wish it was more to do with the auras (which i assume will become a bigger issue too little too late). interesting premise gone wrong :(

THIS DRAMA IS GREAT SO FAR IM OBSESSED

i watched the first episode to get my fix of EstherxPush but dont feel the need to watch the rest..... story wasn't really enticing :(
but the first episode was like a mini movie and ended nicely haha

they are trying to fit A LOT of content and complicated back stories into 16 hours and its obvious they are struggling

my biggest confusion with se joo's family is; if hes the youngest son doesn't that mean he wont inherit anything anyway so why does everyone run around him and pretend to care for him like hes the most important son??

this bit totally makes sense and would make things a lot clearer but still so so hard to tell from the episodes so far.
so were kinda assuming that she knows that she will inevitably marry him because she believes he will succeed in breaking teehee's heart and then successfully break up their parents marriage by marrying each other. she's just being extra complicated and long about it by doing it via this bet. im going to go with this idea in my head for now hahaha

also why is she befriending the home schooled girl? just to spite her ex or is there something more to it?

and just what the hell is happening in Se Joo's family, i dont get any of it at all LOL his mums in hospital right so the other woman who runs the school is just another of his dads wives, correct?? why are they all obsessed with him when hes got loads of older siblings

The original bet they made (shihyun and sooji) was that if he broke tae he's heart then she would consider marrying him right? but i dont see why she would be against that idea anyway when she doesn't want their parents to get married in the first place? what does she gain from winning/losing this bet??
I just dont understand a lot of SooJi's emotions and why she's angry all the time. she got mad cos she fought for the house for shihyun but then if she just married him like he suggested then wouldnt all their problems be solved with the awkward family stuff?
