I see (from your post on sa6abe's page) you really liked Lovers. I'm going to try and find it next to watch. I really enjoyed City Hall and Gentleman's Dignity by the same writer and have been hunting her stuff (though I disliked Heirs with a passion, I don't care what anyone says!). I was going to do Lovers in Paris but I see you didn't care for that one as much as Lovers. I had also read the ending wasn't that great on that one. Thanks for sharing your opinion!

I would LOVE to talk Princess' Man. I finished it at midnight. You think I could sleep after THAT!? Not so much! It was heart-achingly good. My mind has been wrapping around the whole thing for hours now. I'll probably think about this one for awhile. I do have to say I read the "history" of Grand Prince Sujang before I watched the drama so I knew it wasn't going to end well with the 'evil' guy losing in the end. I think that helped me along the way. The love story was done exceptionally well but I liked that it wasn't the whole of the drama. I cared a lot about all the characters, not just the leads. I felt for all of them, whether they were noble or not. I think that says a lot for a drama if I can feel some empathy towards a character that isn't necessarily good. Yes, I even felt pain for Grand Prince Sujang. Choices and paths taken. Regret and pain. It was all EXCELLENT!

I would recommend Love From Another Star. I almost stopped after the first episode on this one too because of the lead actress and what I viewed as childish behavior. I'm glad I kept watching though because it grabbed me by the 2nd episode. This show is worth watching for the lead actor, Kim Soo Hyun. If anything watch it for his role. I am partial to sci fi so this story was just my thing. And the love story is great. The murderer plot was a bit overdone but I'd still watch it.

I understand your thoughts about My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. So many people absolutely loved that one I just had to watch it to see what all the hullabaloo was about. Even then it took me 2 starts to do it. I watched the first episode and didn't get it so put it off for awhile. I eventually watched the whole thing and even though I thought it was ok I still didn't get the absolute love that people had. I think I scored it a 7. It had some amusing parts but it took me awhile to warm up to the gumiho character, she was very childish in the beginning. Also, the ending was a bit sloppy in my opinion. Still, I'm glad I watched it. It was entertaining.

I'm not sure about Gu Family. I'm through episode 4 but it hasn't hooked me yet. I'm willing to give it a few more episodes to get into it. The first 2 episodes were a lot better than 3 & 4. Goliath also really liked Princess' Man so your recommendation along with hers makes me want to check it out more. I'm not watching anything avidly besides Bride of the Century right now so I'm open for a GREAT one!

Hello fellow marathoner! I read your utterly obsessed list and can't help but 100% agree. Those dramas were the best. I'm actually watching Greatest Love this weekend for the 3rd time. Sometimes I just feel like watching one of the "feel good" ones. I know I have tons more of oldies to catch up on but sometimes you just have to go with tried and true. I see your current obsession is Princess' Man. I haven't seen that one yet but have heard so many good things. Maybe I'll start a new marathon... Nice to meet you!

Castaway on the Moon was excellent. It's one of those movies that kinda sticks with you.

I'm sticking with it. It looks like it will be a good one. And even though I know ahead of time the ending is a tear jerker I have prepared myself and will accept it. *breathe in, breathe out* I can do it!

Man, the first episode! Really?! A murder, a beating, a rape, a hanging, a suicide and then a witch hunt through the woods. The trailer looked a bit lighter than all THAT. LOL

I hear you. I had to do my watched list alphabetically as well as look at the drama cover pictures. I'm trying to be a bit selective with my want to watch list. If it's too big I might as well say I want to watch everything that's left. It would probably be easier to list the ones I want to avoid!

Interesting. Haven't watched something like this before. I could see this as a movie. The idea grabbed my attention. Easy watch.

I think I'm going to start watching Gu Family Book next. What's the cry-o-meter on that one?

The 1 to 10 score you give dramas. That's what I meant. I go to your list and sort by score and see what 10's or 9's I may have missed. This morning I went and saw how you, simple, ChaNee, Goliath and Mr. D rated Cheongdamdong Alice, the drama I was going to watch next. All you (except ChaNee who hasn't seen it yet) scored it at 7. I may wait to watch it now.

I figured it would take you awhile but wasn't it nice to get them all in one place? And it's a win-win for us from the forum too. We can look up your ratings easily! That's one of my favorite features.
