Oh good. Usually I don't assume relations just from the sister/brother b/c I watch too many dramas where its just a title... but when she started talking about their father.. I was like wait.. am.. am I missing something important here.. lol
I am only on episode 3 but I hate the main lead. He is so manipulative and toxic. Does he redeem himself?
and I'm having trouble with the FL... she is kinda passive.. at times she comes off as more assertive, but completely folds over and does kinda dumb stuff. (I'm only on ep 7). I liked the first episode because they had a bit of push and pull but that quickly fizzled. I wish she gave as much as he does and had more banter. I think what is kinda make the ML come off worse is that she doesn't push back.
So I just started... as in I'm on episode 2.. and I just dont understand how someone who is allergic to tears all their life... A. Never has a handkerchief to catch tears before they even fall. Having teary eyes doesn't seem to cause her a problem... just when they exit the eyes and fall on her face... sooo how hasn't she come up with some type of coping mechanism to help?? AKA a tissue?! I'd have one on me at all times or something.
B. hasn't (maybe not the most healthy) found a way to breathe through or something. 20+years with this problem...

I mean unless you can speak mandarin you have to give some leeway to subtitles. Nothing translates perfectly... but that's the feeling it gives me within the context of the conversation at least.
I just finished ep 20 and I just love this show. Does anyone have any recs? I really like the main couple and how the FL is independent, but they learn to lean on each other. I'd like a romance show like this.. where the relationship feels more equal and balanced.

I'm interested in the main couple.. I like enemies to lovers so the banter is enjoyable. I'm on episode 8 and I'm just starting to skip ALL the company drama, the best friend AND the SML. I just can't stay interested when their characters/story are there. I don't care about even the interaction between the FL and the SML... will I end up shooting myself in the foot by skipping all that? Ek. I just want the push and pull of the main couple! lol
that is nuts! For having so many episodes they should give like at least, at least 5 full episodes of them as a couple. I'm only on episode 7 and that's kinda disappointing :(
I'm only on episode 7, but the styling is kinda killing me. The ML is just styled so yikes IMO. One of the few people that I don't mind is the FL (and yet characters keep saying she dresses bad). Usually I dont even focus on that... but he's just.. why did they do that to him??
They are going in that direction... end of ep 14 they had a big relationship moment (I'm watching on youku's YouTube and they only have up to ep 14 at the moment, but I feel like end ep 14 is the start of their dating)
